A Phenix City man convicted of murder was sentenced Tuesday in a Russell County hearing.
Brent Martin will receive the death penalty for three counts of murder, and a life sentence on three counts of kidnapping.
Martin was convicted of killing Johnnie Randolph III and Darryl Maurice Carrillo in September 2005.
He’s previously been sentenced to two consecutive life terms for breaking out of the Russell County and attempting to kill a guard.
