Cassandra Escobar Now Faces Murder Charges

Cassandra Escobar south carolina

Cassandra Escobar has now been indicted in the murder of her boyfriend Caleb James who died in May 2021. According to police documents Cassandra Escobar would tell police that Caleb James had shot himself in the head while he was playing with the gun. South Carolina police would initially buy her story however further investigations uncovered a different story. The coroner report would come back in June 2021 and the cause of death was listed as homicide as it was impossible for Caleb James to have shot himself due to where the bullet entered his head. Cassandra Escobar now faces one count of murder however more charges are pending.
