I had been writing to Harry Nicks in an Alabama penitentiary as a pen pal for a long time up until about Thanksgiving of last year. My spiritual community has been participating with the Compassion Prison Project, and I am a minister. Harry and I wrote many letters back and forth for quite a few months, and then suddenly I stopped hearing from him. I have not been able to get any answers about his whereabouts, and have wondered if he got covid or if he was moved. I’ve tried calling the prison but was unable to get anyone to call me back despite my efforts.
Can you help me reach him? We had a very lovely connection that was mutually positive and I would very much like to be supportive of him once again.
In our last contact, Harry had suggested that perhaps we could have a phone call which I responded to, and then the communications abruptly ended, even though I wrote several letters after that.
I would very much like to encourage and reconnect with Harry if at all possible.
