Ja-Darrius Jones is an eighteen year old from Jacksonville Florida who has been arrested and charged in a triple murder. According to police Ja-Darrius Jones allegedly went into a home where he would murder two men and a woman. Along with the murder charges Ja-Darrius Jones is also facing armed robbery and a stolen vehicle charge.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced Monday the arrest of an 18-year-old who is accused of murder in the death of three people on Jacksonville’s Northside.
Ja-Darrius Jones was arrested and charged with three counts of second-degree murder, armed robbery and auto theft just one day after two men and a woman, who police believe were shot, were found dead inside of a home on Bridges Road near Dunn Avenue.
According to detectives, they quickly identified Jones, who was found at a home not too far from the scene of the shooting. Jones tried to escape the police by sneaking out through a window, but after a chase, police were able to take him into custody and interview him, JSO said.
As of Monday morning, JSO has not released any other details as to what happened.

Officers responded to the area for a report of gunshots coming from the home at about 12:30 p.m. Detectives identified Jones as a potential suspect and learned he was at a nearby residence, according to a JSO news release. Officers went to that residence and saw Jones attempting to get away out of a window, the news release states. After a brief foot chase, Jones was arrested
