Jeremy Everett Goodale and Willard Noble Chaiden Miller are two teen killers who have been charged in the murder of their spanish teacher Nohema Graber. According to early reports the two teen stalked the women and learned all of her behaviors before the day of the murder. The murder which took place in November 2021 when Jeremy Everett Goodale and Willard Noble Chaiden Miller would grab Nohema Graber and drag her into the woods where she was beaten to death. Graber body would be found the same day she was reported missing,

Right now the argument is whether or not Jeremy Everett Goodale and Williard Noble Chaiden Miller should be tried as juveniles or as adults. The difference if convicted in sentencing is drastic.

Jeremy Everett Goodale and Willard Noble Chaiden Miller More News

The county attorney prosecuting the case of two southeast Iowa teens who were charged with murdering their high school Spanish teacher said in court documents that the students surveilled the pattern of her life, ambushed her along her daily walk and dragged her into the woods.

The teens murdered Nohema Graber, 66, and later returned to hide her lifeless body. The chilling new details were revealed in a December 23 filing in the case of Jeremy Everett Goodale, 16, of Fairfield. Goodale was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder with classmate Willard Miller, 16.

Graber originally hailed from Xalapa, Mexico. She had been teaching Spanish at Fairfield High School since 2012, although it’s unclear whether she had been the suspects’ teacher at some point. The 66-year-old previously taught in the Ottumwa Community School District. The two 16-year-old students have been charged with the death of the high school teacher after her body was found concealed in a park in Iowa. Authorities revealed on Thursday, November 4, that Nohema Graber was reported missing on Tuesday, November 2.

Her remains were found later that day at the Chautauqua Park in Fairfield, about 100 miles southeast of Des Moines. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said Willard Noble Chaiden Miller and Jeremy Everett Goodale, both students at the school, were charged as adults with first-degree homicide and conspiracy to commit first-degree homicide.

Authorities confirmed later that Graber suffered ‘inflicted trauma to the head’. Her body was found concealed under a tarp, wheelbarrow and railroad ties at the Chautauqua Park in Fairfield. Authorities are yet to release a motive behind the murder. Jefferson County Attorney Chauncy Moulding said that Jeremy Everett Goodale must be tried as an adult because if he is tried and convicted in the juvenile court system, he would have to be released in less than 24 months, at the age of 18.

“This prosecuting attorney cannot fathom any combination of programming at any Iowa juvenile facility which could appropriately treat or rehabilitate the defendant if adjudicated as a juvenile,” he said. Both the teens have pleaded not guilty.

Following the murder, Iowa State Education Association President Mike Beranek said in a statement, “an act like this is unspeakable, and we are torn that one of our education family is a victim to such a senseless act. Every day, educators work tirelessly to protect the students in their care. With full hearts and deep commitment, educators have been the backbone of our state and our nation during this unprecedented time. We cannot understand this, or any violence aimed at such guardians,” he had added.

Willard Miller and Jeremy Everett Goodale Other News

Two Iowa teenagers have been charged with first-degree murder after authorities say they brutally beat to death a 66-year-old Spanish teacher.

The elderly female teacher is said to have died as a result of head trauma

Police say 16-year-olds Willard Miller and Jeremy Everett Goodale killed 66-year-old Nohema Graber, their Spanish teacher at Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Iowa, in November.

According to reports, Goodale and Miller publicly discussed how they watched Graber, followed her, and killed her with a bat. The two are said to have hidden her body in a local park underneath both a tarp and a wheelbarrow.

Her lifeless body was discovered just one day after she was reported missing.

Authorities said that Jeremy Everett Goodale wrote Snapchat messages — which are ephemeral in nature — describing how the attack unfolded, which prompted an acquaintance to save the messages in order to prove how the two “were involved in the planning, execution, and disposal of evidence” in connection with Graber’s murder.

Miller is said to have admitted to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation that he provided the wheelbarrow that obscured Graber’s body

Fox News on Thursday reported that Judge Shawn Showers this week denied defense attorneys’ requests that a hearing on whether the two teens will be tried in adult court be kept private. According to the report, the judge said the defense “failed to show how allowing the public at the hearing would be unfair to their clients” and declined the request

Showers has scheduled Goodale’s trial for Aug. 23 and Miller’s trial for Nov. 1.

The Des Moines Register reported that In Iowa, anyone age 16 years or more and who has been charged with a forcible felony is automatically waived to adult court and is “subject to the same criminal procedures and penalties as adults.”

The outlet added that while the adult sentence for murder is life in prison in Iowa, in 2016, the Iowa Supreme Court prohibited judges from handing down sentences of life without parole for offenders under age 18.

A woman accused of killing a New Boston, Texas, woman and taking her unborn baby was indicted by a Bowie County grand jury today for capital murder and kidnapping.

Taylor Rene Parker, 27, aka Taylor Morton, faces life without parole or the death penalty if convicted of capital murder.

Parker is accused of attacking 21-year-old Reagan Simmons Hancock at her home in New Boston on the morning of Oct. 9. Parker was stopped by a Texas state trooper near DeKalb, Texas, at 9:37 a.m., according to a probable cause affidavit.

Parker was allegedly attempting to perform CPR on the infant in her lap and allegedly claimed she gave birth to the baby on the side of the road. Parker and the infant were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. The baby was pronounced dead and doctors there determined Parker had not given birth.

Parker was arrested in Oklahoma after Hancock’s mother discovered her body and paramedics determined the baby had been cut from the mother’s body.

Parker had allegedly been faking a pregnancy and was a friend of Hancock’s. Parker’s boyfriend told investigators he and Parker had a gender reveal party and that he believed she was pregnant with his child. The boyfriend said he expected to meet Parker at the Idabel hospital that day at “about lunch time” for an induced delivery.

Parker allegedly confessed to the phony pregnancy and admitted to using a small scalpel to remove the unborn infant from Hancock’s body. The scalpel was found lodged in Hancock’s neck during an autopsy performed at the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas.

Parker is being held in the Bowie County jail with bail at $5 million. Texarkana attorney Jeff Harrelson has been appointed to represent her and the case is assigned to 202nd District Judge John Tidwell. First Assistant District Attorney Kelley Crisp is the assigned prosecutor.

Bowie County District Attorney Jerry Rochelle announced Friday at a hearing in New Boston that his office will seek the death penalty for Taylor Rene Parker in the death of Reagan Simmons Hancock.

Texarkana attorney Jeff Harrelson entered pleas of not guilty on Parker’s behalf to capital murder and kidnapping. First Assistant District Attorney Kelley Crisp asked 202nd District Judge John Tidwell to revoke Taylor’s current $5 million in bail due to the charges and possible death sentence.

Harrelson said it is unlikely Parker can make the $5 million bond but objected to her having no bond set at all. Tidwell scheduled a hearing for March 5.

Crisp said she expects to ask a Bowie County grand jury to indict Parker for murder in the death of Baby Hancock in February. Crisp said those charges were not presented to the grand jury that indicted Parker for capital murder and kidnapping in December because a report from the medical examiner had not been received at that time.

Rochelle said his office decided to seek the death penalty after “deliberations” with his staff and the victim’s family. Rochelle called the crime “horrific” and said Parker planned the murder for months.

John “Chip” Clark did not immediately move from his seat when he was called to the witness stand at Fredrick Baer’s resentencing hearing on Thursday.

A tearful woman sitting in front of him reached back to touch his knee – “you have to do this,” she whispered.

Clark’s face was flushed deep red and he kept his hands clasped in front of his face for several seconds before standing up to walk past Fredrick Baer.

Once on the witness stand, Clark answered questions from Madison County Prosecutor Rodney Cummings, but he made very few statements in the court with the exception of one. He wanted Baer to be punished for the rest of his life for murdering his 26-year-old wife Cory Clark and 4-year-old daughter Jenna on Feb. 25, 2004.

“I want a life sentence,” he told Madison Circuit Court Division 6 Judge Mark Dudley. “That’s exactly what I want.”

Dudley granted his request resentencing Baer, 47, to two counts of life without parole for the slayings.

Fredrick Baer initially was sentenced to death for the murders on June 9, 2005, but that sentence was overturned by the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

The U.S. Court of Appeals cited ineffective legal counsel for failing to object to jury instructions that kept the jury from considering mitigating circumstances and failure to object to instances of prosecutorial misconduct by Cummings in its decision to overturn Baer’s death penalty sentence.

During the selection of a jury, brought in from Huntington County, the Court of Appeals said Cummings incorrectly suggested that the standard for guilty but mentally ill and legal insanity were the same.

The court said Cummings also made statements suggesting the life sentence without parole could be changed by the Indiana General Assembly.

On Thursday, Dudley heard emotional testimony by John Clark; Cory Clark’s mother, Christina Flemming; and her only surviving daughter, Morgan Clark.

Morgan Clark was 7 years old when her mother and little sister were killed by Fredrick Baer in 2004 at their home near Lapel. She was at school when the murders happened, but she said she is still haunted by their deaths and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder because of it.

Fredrick Baer admitted to the crimes at the time of his 2005 trial and agreed Thursday to a plea agreement of life imprisonment without parole for both murders.

Before he was sentenced, Dudley allowed Fredrick Baer to make a statement in court.

“To the family and friends and community of Cory and Jenna Clark, Mr. John Clark and Ms. Flemming, there’s no excuse to justify what I did to your loved ones,” Baer said. “I know that to say I am sorry is meaningless because it doesn’t do anything to lessen your loss. But I am deeply sorry for the terrible grief and pain that I have caused you.

“I live with the regret of having stolen two innocent lives every day. I can only give you my sincere apology. I know you are free to reject my apology. I will be punished for the rest of my life for what I have done, but I will with the sorrow and regret of my actions forever in my heart and soul.”

Dudley said he only accepted the plea agreement because it was what the victim’s family wanted.

Following the resentencing, Flemming said she wanted people to remember what Fredrick Baer did to her family.

“I think we need to know and remember what he did to a 4-year-old child, and that’s damage we have to live with and we want to remember the true victims,” she said.

Fredrick Baer Other News

A week ago, in Madison County just northeast of Indianapolis, a 26-year-old mother and her four-year-old daughter were murdered. They were attacked from behind, their throats slashed.

The prime suspect – Fredrick Baer. A man with a lengthy criminal record that stretches from Knox County to Marion to Hamilton to Madison.

In an interview with NBC affiliate WTHR, Baer admits he was in the neighborhood that day, that he was high on marijuana and meth but says he didn’t do it.”Am I a cold sadistic murderer? Would I cut a girl’s throat, a five-year-old girl? No,” claims Baer, “Did I kill anyone? No. I’m just a regular person. I didn’t kill anyone.”

Prosecutors disagree.

In Marion County, Fredrick Baer is being charged with two brutal rapes. In Hamilton County, he’s accused of rape, and burglary, and more charges are expected there.

With new charges mounting daily, Baer faces hundreds of years in prison with the death penalty looming.

And the Madison County prosecutor is apparently livid. He’s questioning why Knox County Prosecutor, John Sievers, didn’t put Fredrick Baer behind bars two-years ago, on an habitual criminal charge.

We stopped by John Sievers’ office for a comment, but his assistant said he was in court all day, and he did not return our phone calls.

Rodney Cummings, Prosecutor for Madison County, where the mother and daughter were killed, is also trying to reach Sievers.

In fact, Cummings wrote a letter to Sievers, essentially asking why Frederick Baer wasn’t given a longer sentence for his crimes. Here’s part of that letter:

“It appears Baer was habitual eligible and possibly could have been charged with escape. I would appreciate information you could provide to help me explain why Baer was not incarcerated longer than 18 months.”

Habitual eligible is an Indiana law that would have given Fredrick Baer a longer sentence for committing several crimes.

Here’s why Cummings is questioning Baer’s sentencing: In Knox County alone, in 2001 and 2002, Baer was charged with drug trafficing and possession, probation violations, numerous thefts, robbery, possession of stolen property, resisting law enforcement, escape and battery.

But, Vincennes Police Chief Bob Dunham, says there are a lot of factors that play into a sentencing a criminal.Dunham says, “I think he probably falls within the standards of what happens in most court systems. Everybody knows that the prisons are overcrowded and when we dealt with this individual, they were not necessarily violent crimes. He did resist law enforcement, but it wasn’t a violent situation per-say.”Authorities say Baer, who is originally from Indianapolis, lived in Bicknell for a short time and quickly made a name for himself in the area.

A man convicted of killing a central Indiana woman and her 4-year-old daughter faces resentencing next month after federal courts threw out his death sentence.

Fredrick Baer is scheduled to go before a Madison County judge on Aug. 1. County Prosecutor Rodney Cummings tells The (Anderson) Herald Bulletin that he expects the 47-year-old Indianapolis man will be sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Baer was convicted in the 2004 slayings of 26-year-old Cory Clark and her daughter Jenna at their rural Madison County home about 25 miles northeast of Indianapolis.

A federal appeals court upheld Baer’s murder convictions but faulted his defense lawyers for failing to object to instructions that kept jurors from considering mitigating circumstances. Baer maintained he was under the influence of methamphetamine.

Timothy Leeks faces a felony murder charge in the death of Dayvon Bennett, also known as King Von

Leeks is in police custody at an Atlanta hospital, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound.

Three people were killed, including King Von, after a confrontation outside an Atlanta club that ended in gunfire early Friday morning, according to police.

Two off-duty Atlanta officers were working an extra job at a local hookah lounge when they saw two groups of men arguing with each other outside the establishment around 3:20 a.m. Friday, police said.

Officials said the argument quickly escalated to gunfire between the two groups.

One of the off-duty officers, along with an on-duty APD officer who was patrolling nearby, confronted the shooters and shots were also fired during the encounter with police.

Three people were transported to the hospital by EMS with gunshot wounds, and three others were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. Two additional people were detained on the scene, police said.

Charges are anticipated against the two suspects detained on-scene, and additional charges are likely as the investigation continues, police said.

The identities of the other victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation into the incident remains open and very active, officials said
