Teen Mom alum Drew Brooks has been arrested for attempted murder, Us Weekly can confirm.

Brooks, 22, was taken into custody at Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee on Wednesday, April 6. He is being held without bond ahead of a Monday, April 18 court hearing.

Us previously confirmed the Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant alumwas arrested by the same sheriff’s department last month for unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon. Following a March 15 court appearance, he was eventually released from custody. The charges were dropped due to lack of witnesses.

Brooks was previously arrested in September 2018 for theft of property. After allegedly violating the terms of his parole, he was arrested again in April 2020. He was also charged with criminal impersonation and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after authorities allegedly found marijuana and alcohol in a car driven by his friend. He was released in July 2020.

“Look who’s out,” Rachel Beaver captioned a since-deleted Instagram post of Brooks and their daughter, Hazelee, at the time. “Hazelee & her daddy.”

Brooks and Beaver, now 19, initially appeared on the first season of MTV’s Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant after learning they were expecting their first child together. The twosome, who dated on and off since February 2019, share Hazelee, now 3. While Beaver was initially unsure about Brooks’ paternity, she later confirmed it during a January 2020 episode.

“It’s been a long time since Drew has even seen or asked about Hazelee, and I figured he was out of my life for good,” she said during a confessional for Teen Mom: Young & Pregnant at the time.

By June 2020, the pair had split but maintained a coparenting relationship.

“Glad we’ve put the past behind us,” Beaver wrote via Instagram Story at the time. “I know you love our baby girl so much & I’m so happy that your takin the steps to change for the better. Much love for you… (No we are not together & we don’t want to be together but we are friends & co-parenting.)”

Brooks’ first release from jail was later chronicled on season 3 of the MTV spinoff shortly before he entered a treatment facility.

“This isn’t the first time that he’s attempted to straighten up his life and now that Hazelee’s getting older, I don’t want her to get hurt if he keeps getting in trouble and isn’t around,” Beaver noted during a November 2021 episode. “She doesn’t need to be calling him ‘Dad’ right off the bat [if he comes over to the house] because she doesn’t know who he is.”

Saucy and Honey Target Fail

Saucy and Honey

Saucy and Honey are a couple who post videos on YouTube and their latest video “24 HOUR OVERNIGHT CHALLENGE IN TARGET!! (CAUGHT?!?)” ended with both of them facing up to seven years in prison. Saucy and Honey whose real names are Johnson Larose, 25, and Charlotte Fischer, 24, decided to do the whole 24 hour challenge like a number of other YouTubers so they went into a Target store in Pennsylvania and hid behind boxes while the store shutdown. Once the Target was closed they would film themselves running around the empty store. Of course when they would post the video to YouTube Saucy and Honey would attract the wrong kind of attention and be charged with criminal trespassing and are now facing up to seven years in prison. The video by the way has a little over 66,000 views at the time I am writing this, March 12, 2022.

Saucy And Honey More News

Chester County couple is facing trespassing charges for sneaking into a Target store in Exton last month to film a “challenge” video for their YouTube channel.

The incident happened Feb. 21 at the Target on Sunrise Boulevard off Route 100, according to investigators.

Johnson Larose, 25, and Charlotte Fischer, 24, allegedly went into the store just before closing and hid behind boxes to create content overnight for their “Saucy and Honey” YouTube page, which has picked up about 17,800 followers since the couple joined the platform in 2020.

A 25-minute video posted on the channel on Feb. 21 shows the couple walking around the darkened store, dancing in front of product displays and describing the noises they heard in the empty building. Oddly, the store still had music playing overnight.

Larose and Fischer initially thought their escapade hadn’t been noticed, but West Whiteland Township police told FOX29 the couple tripped an alarm when they left using an emergency exit around 3 a.m. Police said the couple returned to the store around 8 a.m., though at one point in the video, Fischer is shown inside the store and mentioned it was after 4 a.m.

Officers initially came to the store in response to the alarm, they didn’t find anyone at the Target, police said. They only discovered the couple had been there after reviewing surveillance video.

Larose and Fischer did not steal anything from the store, police said.

West Whitehall Township Detective Scott Pezick told FOX29 that Larose and Fischer were fortunate the situation didn’t create a tense encounter with police.

“When you go to a burglary call you have a heightened sense of awareness. Suddenly, you see somebody in there or maybe they get spooked and run, our officers are well-trained, but it’s not a great situation for anybody,” Pezick said. “They weren’t out to harm anybody, but we want to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

A description on the “Saucy and Honey” YouTube page describes the channel as a place for vlogs, pranks, challenges and travel

Larose and Fischer were each charged with criminal trespassing and conspiracy, according to court documents. They were released on $25,000 unsecured bail and are banned from visiting any Target stores in Pennsylvania. Their next hearing is scheduled for March 24.

The “Saucy and Honey” page has since posted several other videos, including the latest, “Surprising My Boyfriend with GRANNY UNDIES to See His Reaction.”

This is before the couple’s time, but the whole “trapped in a Target scenario” was done with much more drama and entertainment in the 1991 movie “Career Opportunities” with Jennifer Connolly and Frank Whaley.

A U.S. women’s basketball superstar is being held in Russia after allegedly being caught with illegal drugs at an airport in Moscow.

The basketball player, identified by Russian media outlet Lenta as Brittney Griner, 31, was flagged at Sheremetyevo Airport sometime last month after flying in from New York. Russian customs officials claim she was carrying vaping equipment with cannabis oil cartridges, which are illegal in Russia. She reportedly could face 5 to 10 years in prison.

“As a U.S. citizen was passing through the green channel at Sheremetyevo Airport upon arriving from New York, a working dog from the Sheremetyevo Customs canine department detected the possible presence of narcotic substances in the accompanying luggage,” the Russian Federal Customs Service said in a statement. “The customs inspection of the hand luggage being carried by the U.S. citizen confirmed the presence of vapes with specifically-smelling liquid, and an expert determined that the liquid was cannabis oil (hash oil), which is a narcotic substance.”

It was not clear when last month Griner was arrested, but the development comes as Russia is increasingly isolated from the west following its invasion of Ukraine. Last month, the WNBA and the league’s players association warned many of its players, who compete in Russia, Ukraine, and various European nations during their off-season, to get out of the war zone.

“We have been in constant communication with our members and their representatives for several weeks, and we’ll continue to stay abreast of current events,” the league statement read. “The league has also been in contact with WNBA players who are in Russia, either directly or through their agents. We will continue to closely monitor the situation.”

Griner, who is listed at 6-foot, 8-inches tall and was a three-time All-American at Baylor University, has starred for the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury as well as UMMC Ekaterinburg, a team based in Yekaterinburg, Russia, since 2015. The team competes in the Russian Premier League and FIBA Europe’s EuroLeague. Griner helped the U.S. Olympic women’s basketball team win gold medals at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

Griner is so accomplished that when she came out of college in 2013, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban floated the idea of drafting her to play in the NBA.
