A Washington man is accused of killing his half-brothers inside a home before allegedly attacking a sheriff’s detective after being apprehended.

Seth South is charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of third-degree assault, according to a Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

South allegedly called 911 on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and told the dispatcher that his half-brother had slit his own throat, according to charging documents obtained by KIRO, Fox 13 and the Kitsap Sun.

A dispatcher reportedly told police that the phone went silent before fighting was heard, according to the documents.

When deputies arrived at the home, they found two “young adult” victims who had been killed, the sheriff’s office said in its Facebook post. A warrant for South’s arrest was subsequently obtained.

The reported documents allege that detectives interviewed South’s family members, one of whom alleged that South had admitted to killing “the boys,” according to KIRO, Fox 13 and the Sun.

Kitsap County officials confirmed in their Facebook post that South was related to the victims, but did not identify the victims. The reported documents said South was the victims’ half-brother.

South was arrested by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office. Body camera footage of the arrest viewed by PEOPLE shows a brief standoff before deputies pulled South out of his vehicle and cuffed him on the ground.

When South was brought in to be interviewed by Kitsap County detectives, Pierce County authorities alleged in a Facebook post he assaulted a detective who tried to re-handcuff him. Pierce County authorities said the detective was injured and the interview room was damaged in the alleged “attempt to escape custody,” leading to the assault charge.

According to the reported charging documents, police found blood inside South’s vehicle.

It is not immediately clear if South has entered a plea or retained an attorney.

Samuel Gizaw News

The teenager suspected of a deadly shooting at Alderwood Mall on July 3 now faces murder and firearms charges.

Snohomish County Prosecutors have charged 16-year-old Samuel Gizaw as an adult with first-degree murder with a firearm, second-degree murder with a firearm, first-degree assault with a firearm and juvenile in possession of a firearm.

According to charging documents obtained by FOX 13 News, Gizaw had gotten into an argument with five other teenage boys around 6:04 p.m. One of the boys told police Gizaw had made a “disrespectful comment” about a deceased person who was once associated with him, reportedly during a group phone call one year ago.

That boy punched Gizaw in the face during this mall confrontation, so Gizaw pulled out a handgun and chased him and the others down, according to court docs.

None of the other teens attacked him or had any weapons.

Gizaw shot at the teen who punched him and missed, instead shooting and killing 13-year-old Jayda Woods-Johnson, who was not involved in the fight, according to court docs.

Court records say Jayda was walking through the mall with her 11-year-old friend when she was hit by a bullet and fell to the ground. Her friend stayed with her, and other people at the mall attempted CPR on her.

An autopsy showed Jayda was shot in the back near her right shoulder. The bullet went through her right lung and heart, and emerged from the upper left area of her chest.

Police responded within a minute of the shooting and took over CPR on Jayda, and she later died from her injuries at Providence Hospital. Alderwood Mall was locked down for an hour while police looked for the suspect.

Gizaw’s parents later drove him, at his request, to the Mukilteo Police Department. They told detectives they had driven him and his friend to Alderwood Mall earlier in the day to see a movie. His father told detectives he did not know how his son had access to any weapons.

Prosecutors are requesting that his bail be raised to $2 million after discovering images on social media of Gizaw posing with firearms prior to the shooting at the mall.

The gun used to kill Jayda has still not been located.

Detectives say they have seen posts on social media in which an uninvolved individual boasts that police will not find the firearm, indicating arrangements were made to dispose of the evidence.

Alyssa Bradburn News

A woman admitted to planning the shooting of her father inside his northwest Spokane home early Tuesday morning because he would beat her and her dogs, she told police.

Alyssa Bradburn, 31, called police just before 1 a.m. to report she shot and killed her father, Timothy Bradburn, court documents say. The two live at 5610 N. Cochran St., but her father has a condo in Hawaii and spent most of his time there, she told police.

For weeks, Bradburn planned out the killing of her father, she said in court records. She practiced how to use a gun at the gun range and often wrote in her journal about it. Bradburn told police her father raped her as a child and would often beat her and shoot her dogs with a BB gun in the backyard, court records say.

No records exist in Spokane Superior Court or state court for Timothy Bradburn. When asked about Alyssa Bradburn’s claims against him, a Spokane Police Department spokeswoman simply said the incident is under investigation.

The morning of the shooting, Bradburn’s father flew into Spokane from Hawaii and arrived home in an Uber. She waited for him to walk inside and shot him in the chest and in the head, Bradburn told police. She informed law enforcement that she was OK with her arrest, and Bradburn was booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

During her first appearance in court Tuesday afternoon, Bradburn appeared in a green jumpsuit and calmly spoke to her attorney and the judge. Her bond was set at $1 million.

Alyssa Bray Murders Gerald Fox In Washington

Alyssa Bray
Alyssa Bray

Alyssa Bray is a woman from Washington State who is accused of murdering Gerald Fox

According to police reports Alyssa Bray would run Gerald Fox over with a truck with such force that he went through a fence and struck a tree. Gerald Fox would die from his injuries

However the story has a twist as Alyssa Bray would tell police that Gerald Fox picked her up as she was walking along the side of a highway and propositioned sex. The two would drive around for a half an hour when Fox would get out of the vehicle in order to initiate a sexual interaction. However Bray would lock herself in the truck and proceeded to run him over

Gerald Fox was a convicted sex offender who pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography

Alyssa Bray has been charged with felony first-degree murder, hit-and-run death and theft of a motor vehicle

Alyssa Bray News

A 27-year-old woman charged with hitting and killing a 70-year-old man with his own truck last week in Spokane told police the man picked her up from the side of a highway and offered to pay her for sex.

“I didn’t have to run him over, he was only trying to help me, but I seen that he wanted more of me and it gave me a gross feeling and I’m running around in my underwear,” Alyssa K. Bray told police in court documents.

Bray was charged with first-degree murder in the April 9 death of Gerald R. Fox near the Spokane International Airport. She made her first appearance Wednesday in Spokane County District Court where Judge Jeffrey Smith kept her bond at $1 million.

Bray told police she was walking on the side of the highway heading toward Airway Heights the night of April 9 when she was picked up by a man who she did not know. The man offered her money in exchange for sex, she said.

Bray said she got in the truck, later identified as Fox’s blue Chevrolet Colorado, and they drove around for a short time before parking on a road, which police believe was Grove Road. She said they were there for about 30 to 45 minutes and he offered her $40, she told police.

She said there was no physical contact between them, but when he got out of the truck to come around to the passenger side, she locked the doors of the truck and got into the driver’s seat. Police said they believe Fox got out of the truck to “initiate sexual contact” with Bray.

When asked where Fox was located at the time of the crash and if Fox was running away or running toward her, Bray said, “No, I just drove him off the road.”

She said she “didn’t have to kill him,” according to court records.

Police believe Bray accelerated the truck at Fox, crossed onto the opposite shoulder of the roadway and struck him with the vehicle before fleeing the scene west on Highway 2 into Lincoln County, where she was pulled over and arrested for unrelated charges.

Police believe Bray was driving well over 25 mph and closer to highway speeds when she hit Fox, documents say. Investigators believe he was thrown from Sunset Frontage Road, through fencing before striking a tree.

A person called 911 after finding Fox’s body at about 7:15 p.m. alongside Sunset Frontage Road, near Grove Road, according to documents. Police and fire personnel responded, and Fox was declared dead at 7:26 p.m.

Police say Fox’s clothing was nearly off his body, documents say.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office informed police Fox died from blunt-force trauma and that Fox had been struck from behind, according to the office’s preliminary findings.

Police said there was no significant change of direction in the tire marks through the gravel or any evidence of braking. Police also found vehicle parts in the roadway and gravel. Several fragments of bright blue paint, consistent with automotive paint, were at the scene.

Spokane police dispatch received two “reckless driver” reports involving a speeding blue Chevrolet truck with front-end damage on U.S. Highway 2 within a few minutes after Fox was found dead.

A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded at about 8:30 p.m. to a report of a possibly impaired driver on State Route 25. The deputy found Bray in a blue Chevrolet Colorado, of which Fox is the registered owner, stopped in the roadway, documents say.

The driver of the truck then drove away, and the deputy tried to stop it. The pursuit reached speeds of 93 mph before the deputy stopped and arrested Bray, the only person in the truck, according to court records.

She was initially booked into the Lincoln County Jail on suspicion of DUI and attempting to elude a police vehicle, Spokane police said. She was transferred Tuesday to the Spokane County Jail, where she remained Wednesday night.

Fox has two unrelated convictions for possessing child pornography in the last two years in Spokane County.

Chase Jones Charged With 4 Counts Of Vehicular Homicide

chase jones car crash

Chase Jones is an eighteen year old from Washington State who has been charged with four counts of vehicular homicide

According to police reports Chase Jones allegedly was racing up to 112 mph when his vehicle slammed into a minivan killing Buster Brown, 12, Eloise Wilcoxson, 12, Matilda Wilcoxson, 13, and Andrea Hudson, 38.

The brutal car crash would also leave two others with serious injuries

Chase Jones would break his arms and legs in the crash

Chase Jones who has a history of speeding and car accidents has been charged with four counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular assault, and one count of reckless driving.

Despite the seriousness of the charges the Judge in the case set the bond at $100,000 and placed him under house arrest and obviously banned him from driving

Jones has plead not guilty to all charges

Chase Jones News

An 18-year-old involved in a car crash that killed a woman and three children in Washington state has pleaded not guilty to charges related to their deaths.

Chase Daniel Jones appeared in court virtually while laying in a hospital bed recovering from the deadly collision on Monday, April 1. He entered a not-guilty plea to four counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of vehicular assault and one count of reckless driving, according to local news stations KOMO News, KIRO 7 and KING 5.

Andrea Hudson, 38, was driving a van with five children, including two of her own, when the high-speed accident, which involved four vehicles, occurred in King County shortly before 1 p.m. on March 19, the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) said. Hudson, along with Matilda Wilcoxson, 13, Eloise Wilcoxson, 12, and Boyd Brown, 12, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Hudson’s children, Nolan and Charlotte Hudson, were critically injured in the accident and were taken to a local hospital. One other person was treated for minor injuries, sheriffs said.

Per court documents cited by KOMO News, Jones is accused of driving at 112 mph and running a red light, crashing into the van in the “incredibly violent collision” that “immediately killed” the victims. The documents also state that Jones has been involved in three car crashes where speeding was a factor within the last year. In last month’s deadly incident, he was driving a 2015 Audi A4 that he had just bought weeks before. It marked the third car he “totaled in a crash involving speed in 11 months,” court documents alleged.

Amy J. Freedheim, senior deputy prosecuting attorney for King’s County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, wrote in the filing that Jones “was witnessed speeding and weaving around other traffic and using the shared turn lane to pass.”

She added, “His driving has been also captured on videos. Witnesses were alerted to his aggressive driving and excessive speeding on the 40mph posted road. Crash data from his vehicle corroborates the witness.”

During Monday’s hearing, Jones’ attorney, Bradley G. Barshis said the teenager “is not out there stealing cars, having a gun, intentionally trying to commit a violent crime. This is an allegation in which my client may have made a dumb mistake by driving above the speed limit. That’s the allegation.”

Jones’ bail was set at $100,000. Should he post bail, the court recommended for him to be on house arrest less than 24 hours after he is discharged from the hospital. He is banned from driving.

It could be a while before Jones is out of the hospital, Barshis, noting that he sustained broken arms and legs, and was just taken off of a breathing tube, per KOMO News.

According to the news station, Matilda and Eloise’s father, Chace Wilcoxson, also spoke during the hearing. “Your honor, I don’t have evidence of remorse or of his home environment being the right environment for him to heal and change and become the man that he should become,” Wilcoxson said of Jones.

He continued, “I don’t have hard evidence, but I’m confident that I personally have seen this car driven recklessly days and weeks before this accident. I don’t think that this was just a dumb mistake.”

PEOPLE reached out to Jones’ attorney, Bradley G. Barshis, and the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for comment.

GoFundMe accounts have been set up for the Hudson, Wilcoxson and Brown families.
