A suspect has been arrested in connection to the deaths of two Arcadia High School students back in May.

What we know:

Thomas Brown, 31, was arrested more than four months after the deaths of 18-year-old Pandora Kjolsrud and 17-year-old Evan Clark, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office announced on Oct. 2.

Their bodies were found in the Mount Ord area of the Tonto National Forest. They both had gunshot wounds.

The sheriff’s office released limited details on this case so far, and at the time of the deaths, MCSO Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez said, the “circumstances surrounding their deaths are being treated as suspicious.”

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office website says he’s accused of first-degree premeditated murder.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the arrest of a man in connection to the death of two Phoenix teens who were found dead on Mount Ord east of the Valley earlier this year.

According to deputies, 31-year-old Thomas Brown was arrested in connection to the homicide, but MCSO hasn’t given other details about what linked Brown to the crime, but jail records showed he was arrested on accusations of first-degree murder.

Sheriff Jerry Sheridan is expected to hold a news conference at 10 a.m. Friday at the sheriff’s office headquarters.

Pandora Kjolsrud, 18, and Evan Clark, 17, were found dead while camping in the morning hours of Tuesday, May 27, near State Route 87 in the Mount Ord area of the Tonto National Forest. Their bodies were found in a different location from their vehicle.
