Josh Duggar who is known as Joshua Duggar from the reality television show 19 Kids And Counting first started showing up as a sexual deviant as he was let go from the Family Research Council when news came out that he may have molested a number of children under five years old when he was a teenager (14 to 15).

Josh Duggar would not face any charges as too much time had elapsed and that his father had taken him to see a Arkansas State Trooper Joseph Truman Hutchens. According to documents that four out of the five children he had molested were his own siblings. Apparently his parents put him into treatment for his behavior. Later that same Arkansas State Trooper would be sentenced to over fifty years in prison for child pornography.

Former reality TV star Josh Duggar was convicted Thursday of downloading and possessing child sex abuse images on his work computer.

A federal jury in Fayetteville, Arkansas, found the 33-year-old Duggar guilty on one count each of receiving and possessing child pornography. He faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000 for each count when he’s sentenced.

“We appreciate the jury’s lengthy deliberations, we respect the jury’s verdict, and we intend to appeal,” Duggar’s legal team said in a statement to NBC News.

U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas Clay Fowlkes said Thursday that more than 7 percent of the cases in his office involve child sex abuse images.

“This verdict sends the message that these cases are a top priority for our office,” Fowlkes said. “This verdict also demonstrates that no person is above the law. Regardless of wealth, social status, or fame, our office will continue to seek out all individuals who seek to abuse children and victimize them through the downloading, possession, and sharing of child pornography.”

Duggar pleaded not guilty to federal charges of receiving and possessing child pornography in Arkansas in April. Federal prosecutors contended that Duggar downloaded a Linux partition on the laptop to circumvent computer software that monitors internet use.

His activity was found in connection with an undercover investigation involving a file-sharing program, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Investigators geolocated the computer to Duggar’s car lot and then matched the timing of the image downloads to times Duggar was at the lot.

This includes times when Duggar was the “only paid employee on the lot,” the prosecutor’s office said in a Thursday press release.

Evidence presented to the court included logs of Duggar’s internet use, which included downloading the images, sending personal messages, and saving pictures.

Defense attorneys for Duggar denied the allegations during trial, saying someone else downloaded the images and that Duggar’s own personal devices were clear of any illicit material.

In the second week of his trial, Duggar’s family friend Bobye Holt testified that he confessed to molesting underage girls during a conversation in 2003, according to NBC affiliate KNWA.

Holt told the court Duggar had informed them that he touched multiple girls under their pants and underwear, according to KNWA.

Duggar’s defense filed a petition to strike Holt from the witness list in November, citing clergyman privilege. The filing stated that any statements allegedly made to Holt and her husband were made after Duggar’s father requested their spiritual advice.

Both Duggar’s father and Holt’s husband were elders in their church, according to the petition. Prosecutors opposed the request from the defense, saying in a separate filing that the Holts were among the family’s closest friends.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Brooks denied the request and ruled to allow evidence of previous molestation allegations against Duggar in the trial. Brooks said in his order that the prior allegations were “probative of defendant’s sexual interest in underage children.”

Duggar was featured in a reality show on the TLC network with his family called “19 Kids and Counting” that ran from 2008 and 2015. The show chronicled the lives of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children, of which Duggar was the eldest, and often centered around the family’s religious beliefs as devout Baptists.

In 2015, following an In Touch magazine report that he was investigated for molesting his four younger sisters and a babysitter, Duggar released a statement saying he “acted inexcusably” when he was a teenager. An Arkansas police report indicated Duggar was investigated in 2006 when he was 18. He was never arrested or charged with any crime.

Also in 2015, following the apparent hack of the extramarital affairs website Ashley Madison, Duggar was revealed to have frequented the site. He released a statement following reports by The Hollywood Reporter and Gawker saying he was “so ashamed of the double life that I have been living” and apologized to his wife.

He checked himself into a rehabilitation center not long after, according to his mother’s blog at the time.

In todays crime news, Just days after the murder of Young Dolph in Memphis Tennessee police have issued a photo of the two suspects in hopes it will lead to arrest. Young Dolph whose real name is Adolph Thornton, Jr. was at a popular bakery called Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies when he was approached by the two suspects who would open fire killing the popular rapper. Yo Gotti who was a rival of Young Dolph has had Memphis police standing watch outside of Gotti restaurant in fear of retaliation for Young Dolph murder. Over the last few years Young Dolph had survived at least two murder attempts.

Three independent law enforcement sources confirmed to FOX13 that rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed in Memphis Wednesday afternoon.

Maurice Hill, the owner of the shop where the shooting happened, Makeda’s Butter Cookies, told FOX13 his employees said Young Dolph, 36, walked into the store to buy cookies. Someone then drove up and shot and killed him at the South Memphis bakery.

Shortly before 5 p.m., Memphis police released preliminary information about the shooting. Officers said the investigation is pointing to Young Dolph being the victim, but they said the identification process has not been completed.

One suspect holds what appears to be a semi-automatic rifle. The other aims a handgun into the bakery.

Memphis police said that the shooters pulled up in a white, two-door Mercedez Benz before running past Young Dolph’s car and shooting into the cookie shop.

Police called the shooting “senseless” and said, “our hearts go out to the Thornton family and all who were affected by this horrific act of violence.” The release closed by saying officers are committed to working to curb these types of incidents.

Back on the scene, hundreds of people flocked to the area as headlines broke across the world. Tensions flared and raw emotion spilled over. People laid on the ground, crying. Some onlookers called for an end to gun violence and peace. Others cursed and expressed anger at the loss of the Memphis icon.

Chaos broke out at times. A car with a man inside, apparently shot, drove into the crime scene. That man was taken away on a stretcher by paramedics.

For hours, police worked to push the crowd back from the scene while trying to make sense of the tragic death. Airways Boulevard, a major street in Memphis, was shut down during the course of the investigation.

The Memphis rap legend was no stranger to the bakery. A week before being shot to death, Young Dolph was there, spreading love and promoting the business.

His camouflage Corvette sat in the parking lot of the bakery when FOX13 crews arrived. Hours later, it was towed. Videos of the car went viral on TikTok as it was taken by police. Hundreds of people in the comments asking for answers.

The day after Young Dolph was gunned down inside of the bakery, a memorial popped up outside as fans paid tribute to the rapper.

Stuffed animals, balloons, flowers, candles and a dolphin sign hung around the cookie shop Thursday afternoon.

FOX13 spoke to people from as far away as Michigan who came to pay respects to the rapper.

Around 3:30 p.m., a man was shot near the memorial, police said.

The Memphis Police Department said the shooting happened at the Family Dollar right next door to the cookie shop.

Three people were detained in connection to that shooting, according to police, and the man was not critically injured in the shooting.

On Thursday, as Makeda’s Cookie’s sat boarded up, the community of Memphis community rallied to support the local bakeshop, named after a 7-year-old girl who died of Leukemia.

Former NFL running back Zac Stacy, who was seen on a violent video allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, was arrested late Thursday after a manhunt, according to jail records.

Stacy was arrested in Orlando, Florida, and was booked into the Orange County Jail on charges of criminal mischief and aggravated battery. Police initially believed he had fled Florida after the incident occurred Sunday but he was later apprehended there.

Stacy, 30, appeared to beat his girlfriend in an incident at their home over the weekend. The video appeared to show Stacy throwing the woman into a television stand and hitting her, according to TMZ Sports. The gossip site, citing a restraining order application, reported that the woman said he punched her several times in the head.

Oakland, Florida, police said responding officers were at the scene “within two minutes” and Stacy had fled the scene.

Kristin Evans, the woman allegedly in the chilling video, applauded the arrest on Instagram.

“Personally I feel like the state should have several more charges,but thank you to everyone who made this possible!!! We are halfway there,” she wrote.

In the video, the woman can be heard begging for him to stop while a 5-month-old looks on while seated on the couch. At one point, the woman can be seen being body-slammed into one of the baby’s bouncy seats.

Stacy, who retired from the NFL in 2017, left before police arrived, and the woman said she visited the hospital after the incident and had bumps and bruises, TMZ Sports reported.

Ex-NFL player Zac Stacy appeared before a judge Friday morning after he was arrested at Orlando International Airport on charges he beat the mother of his infant son at her home in Oakland last weekend.

Video showing the former running back attacking the woman went viral in recent days after the victim shared it online. Orlando police arrested Stacy after he exited an inbound flight from Nashville and took him to Orange County Jail, said OPD’s Heidi Rodríguez.

In court, his defense attorney said Stacy had flown back to Florida immediately after learning that Oakland police had issued a warrant for his arrest “with the intention of turning himself in.”

However, prosecutors noted that Stacy had left the state “immediately” after the alleged attack. They asked County Judge Andrew Bain to order Stacy to surrender his passport if granted release.

Bain agreed. He set Stacy’s bond at $10,150 on felony charges of aggravated battery and criminal mischief and also ordered him to have no contact with the victim if released and not possess any weapons or firearms.

Stacy spoke only briefly, to confirm he intended to return to Tennessee.

The Oakland Police Department said its officers responded to an emergency call Saturday around 2:30 p.m. and determined “a domestic violence battery had taken place and that the suspect, Zackary Stacy, had fled the scene,” the agency said in a statement.

TheOrange County Sheriff’s Office also tried to locate Stacy, a 30-year-old former running back for Vanderbilt University and laterthe St. Louis Rams and New York Jets, but “learned he had fled the state,” according to Oakland PD.

When officers arrived, they found the woman sitting on the living room couch with her shirt torn and food in her hair, an affidavit for Stacy’s arrestsaid.

Oakland police Detective Shawn Dozier wrote in the affidavit that he watched a video captured by the victim’s surveillance system that shows Stacy struck the woman twice, knockingher to the ground, then “picked her up like a ‘rag doll’ and threw her into a 65-inch television.”

The TV fell over on top of the woman, Dozier said, and “she balled up in a defensive manner.”

Footage alsoshows Stacy grabbing an object and throwing it at the woman’s head, according to Dozier.

“While she was still on the floor, pleading with [Stacy] to stop, he picked her up and body-slammed her down onto the baby walker, causing the object to break as she fell,” Dozier said.

In a public Facebook post, the victim shared multiple video clips of the incident that have since gone viral with the caption: “Vanderbilt’s finest Zac Stacy violent domestic abuse in front of our 5 month old son.”

Oakland police said Friday that officers responded to two other disturbances between Stacy and his son’s mother within the last few months.

In August, she contacted police to have Stacy removed from her home after an argument over rent money, according to an incident report. Stacy had been living in the home for four months and the woman told officers they argued when she didn’t have the money to pay him back.

Oakland police officer Anthony Edwards noted in the report there was no physical violence during the argument, but said Stacy “kept menacingly staring” at the woman as she cried while talking to officers.

Stacy eventually left the house and parked across the street, Edwards said, but left shortly after he noticed Edwards and a detective were watching him.

In September, the woman called police after Stacy allegedly struck the side of her head with a stack of mail while she held their baby, according to the incident report released Friday. He was not at the home when police arrived.

Paramedics treated the woman for ringing in her ears, the report said.

Although the woman declined to press charges, Oakland Police filed a domestic violence battery charge with the State Attorney’s Office, the department said in a statement.

Records show Zac Stacy filed a paternity suit against his child’s mother in October, claiming his ex had kept the boy away from him since they stopped living together in August. His suit sought a time-sharing agreement for custody and legally establish his parental rights.

The suit remains pending.

Meanwhile, Bain indicated during the hearing the victim had filed for a restraining order against Zac Stacy. Court records related to her petition were not available Friday, but Stacy was ordered to adhere to any related restrictions if released.

A TikTok star with nearly a million online followers pleaded not guilty on Monday to shooting and killing his newly estranged wife and a man she was with last week at a San Diego high-rise.

Prosecutors said Ali Abulaban had surreptitiously installed a listening device on his 5-year-old daughter’s tablet device, and when he heard his wife and another man talking, he went to her apartment and shot them to death, the Union-Tribune reported.

After the shootings, Abulaban, still armed, picked up his daughter from school, Deputy District Attorney Taren Brast said.

The details were revealed during the San Diego County Superior Court arraignment for Abulaban, who pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder as well as special-circumstance allegations of multiple killings, the newspaper reported.

Brast said outside court that Abulaban, 29, is a TikTok star known as JinnKid, with more than 940,000 followers on the social media app. His account features comedy skits and impersonations of the character Tony Montana from the 1983 film “Scarface.”

Abulaban’s attorney did not comment on the allegations during the hearing.

Police identified the victims as Ana Abulaban, 28, of San Diego and Rayburn Cadenas Barron, 29, of National City.

About two dozen family members and friends of the two victims packed the courtroom. Several of them sobbed as Brast shared details about last Thursday’s killings in San Diego’s East Village neighborhood.

Brast said Ali Abulaban confessed to detectives and accused his wife of cheating, although the prosecutor said she believes Barron was a friend.

According to Brast, Ana Abulaban had asked her husband to move out Oct. 18. He checked into a hotel.

Three days later, Brast said, Ali Abulaban sneaked back into the apartment and trashed it while his wife was gone. He also installed the listening app on his daughter’s iPad.

Hours later, Abulaban was listening to the app when he heard his wife and a man talking and giggling, Brast said, and he raced back to the high-rise. Security camera video showed him running out of the elevator to the apartment.

Brast said Abulaban shot Barron three times before shooting his wife in her head. Abulaban then called his mother and confessed, Brast said.

After he picked up his daughter, he called police while driving and they arrested him 45 minutes later. His daughter was in the vehicle.

Judge Kimberlee Lagotta ordered Abulaban jailed without bail. The judge also issued a protective order that requires Abulaban to stay away from his daughter, who is being cared for by family.

Former YouTuber and musician Austin Jones has been sentenced to 10 years in prison “for enticing several underage girls, some as young as 14 years old, to produce sexually explicit videos of themselves,” the Justice Department said.

In February, 26-year-old Jones, who is from Bloomingdale, Illinois, pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography, the Justice Department said in a news release Friday.

“Jones admitted in a plea agreement that in 2016 and 2017 he chatted with six underage girls on Facebook and enticed them to produce pornographic videos of themselves and send them to him,” the release said. “Jones told some of his victims to send him the videos as a way to ‘prove’ they were his biggest fans. He also told some of his victims that the videos were part of a modeling opportunity, and that he could assist them in gaining followers on Instagram.”

Jones also admitted to using Facebook around 30 other times to try to persuade minors to send him “sexually explicit” videos and photos, according to prosecutors

“Production and receipt of child pornography are extraordinarily serious offenses that threaten the safety of our children and communities,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Katherine Neff Welsh said in a sentencing memo. “Jones’ actions took something from his victims and their families that they will never be able to get back.”

Jones had faced a minimum sentence of five years in jail and a maximum sentence of two decades. Prosecutors asked for an 11-year sentence.

“Today’s sentencing of Austin Jones represents a major step towards justice for the young victims whom he manipulated and exploited,” Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent-in-Charge James Gibbons said in a statement.

YouTube singer Austin Jones has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for asking underage girls to send him sexually explicit videos of themselves to prove that they’re fans.

Jones, 26, crooned a capella covers of popular songs and performed on tour nationwide. Most of the fans of the suburban Chicago singer were teenage girls.

In 2017, he was arrested on two counts of production of child pornography. Jones admitted to enticing six underage girls to make pornographic videos of themselves and send them to him, according to a plea agreement. The girls were as young as 14.

He pleaded guilty in February, and on Friday, US. District Judge John Z. Lee sentenced him to 10 years in federal prison.

“Production and receipt of child pornography are extraordinarily serious offenses that threaten the safety of our children and communities,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Katherine Neff Welsh said in the government’s sentencing memorandum. “Jones’ actions took something from his victims and their families that they will never be able to get back.”

To get the videos, Jones told some of the girls “to ‘prove’ they were his biggest fans,” that they “were part of a modeling opportunity, and that he could assist them in gaining followers on Instagram,” the Department of Justice said.

Jones admitted using Facebook to persuade minor girls to send him pornographic videos and pictures approximately 30 other times.

Even before his arrest, Jones had come under fire for his interactions with young fans. In June 2015, he posted a 16-minute YouTube video in which he looked directly into the camera and admitted that he used to ask fans to send him twerking videos.

“Nothing ever went further than twerking videos,” he said. “There were never any nudes, never any physical contact.”

Jones was first arrested in June 2017 at O’Hare International Airport and questioned in a recorded interview, the complaint states. He waived his Miranda rights and admitted to using Facebook to have sexually explicit chats with underage girls, receive explicit videos from them and view those videos for sexual pleasure.

A federal criminal complaint cites two instances of Jones messaging teenage girls to send him explicit videos of themselves dancing.

In one example, Jones messaged with a girl who told him she was 14 years old. Jones allegedly asked her to send videos of herself dancing in a sexual manner and referred to it as a “try out” and an “opportunity.”

According to the complaint, Jones instructed the girls on how to shake or “clap” their buttocks and expose themselves in videos for him.

“At the beginning, get super close and say these lines: hey Austin, it’s (name) and this butt is (age) years old and then make it clap for 30 seconds. Got it?” Jones wrote on Facebook to the girl, the complaint states.

She ultimately sent him about 15 videos of her dancing, including 10 videos in which she exposed herself, the complaint states.

A federal judge on Monday allowed YouTube star Austin Jones to remain on house arrest until he surrenders to federal prison authorities to start his 10-year sentence for coercing underage girls to perform sexually explicit dances during live online chats.

U.S. District Judge John Lee declined to take Jones into custody after a therapist who has treated him for nearly two years testified Jones has not expressed any thoughts of suicide for at least the last six months.

Lee also noted that Jones would benefit from continued mental health treatment before he must report to prison. The judge set June 28 for his surrender.

After Jones’ sentencing Friday, prosecutors had requested that he be taken into custody immediately, raising concern about his history of self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
