Police arrested 25-year-old Joshua Fleetwood for Lakevia Jackson’s murder at Metro Fun Center on Metropolitan Parkway. Family members said the woman shared a son with rapper Young Thug.

The fugitive team and U.S. Marshals arrested Fleetwood on Thursday for felony murder and booked him into Fulton County Jail.

Police obtained warrants for Fleetwood’s arrest three days after the deadly shooting. Police said Fleetwood is a conflicted felon with 16 cycles through the criminal justice system. He’s been convicted of narcotics-related crimes, fraud, criminal trespassing and eluding police.

“We are happy that Mr. Fleetwood is in our custody,” Homicide Commander Ralph Woolfolk said.

Lakevia Jackson’s mother, Sherina Jackson, told FOX 5 Atlanta her daughter was celebrating a birthday at the bowling alley with a close family friend that night.

Woolfolk said the Lakevia Jackson’s family was bowling next to Fleetwood, who was on a date, when an argument began over a bowling ball.

“This was simply an escalated dispute, as depicted on video,” Woolfolk said.

The argument continued in the parking lot.

At some point, a shootout occurred and bullets fired from a car leaving the scene hit Jackson.

A man accused of shooting and killing a woman after a fight over a bowling ball at an Atlanta entertainment venue is behind bars, police say. Joshua Fleetwood, 25, faces felony murder and other charges in the death of Lakevia Jackson outside Metro Fun Center on Metropolitan Parkway on March 17, according to the Atlanta Police Department. He was arrested March 31 after investigators secured warrants charging him in the deadly incident. What began as a night of fun at the bowling alley turned violent after authorities said two parties started arguing over a bowling ball. Fleetwood, who was on a date, and Jackson’s family were on adjacent lanes when the fight broke out, according to Atlanta police Lt. Ralph Woolfolk

“These persons went into the location with the intention of bowling,” Woolfolk said. “At no point were there any weapons inside the location, at no point did anyone come with the intentions of hurting anyone or firing upon anyone.” The argument spilled into the parking lot, police said, where things turned physical and the two parties went to their cars to retrieve guns. A shootout followed, during which Jackson was hit by bullets fired from Fleetwood’s car as it left the parking lot

Jackson died at the scene. Relatives remembered her as a “loving” and “kind-hearted” person, according to WAGA. She is survived by a 14-year-old son whom she shares with famous rapper Young Thug, the news station reported. Fleetwood faces charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail where he remained held as of April 1, online records show. Roughly 41% of Atlanta’s recent homicides are the result of escalating disputes, according to Woolfolk. “We’ve asked the public to work together to try to resolve these conflicts without having to escalate to incidents … of gunfire,” he said.

Lucas Noble Dingman Guilty Of Infants Murder

Lucas Noble Dingman

Lucas Noble Dingman has been found guilty in a fatal arson that took place in 2011 that claimed the life of a eleven month old infant. The fatal fire took place in an apartment in Apple Valley California. When firefighters arrived they would find Lucas Noble Dingman and the infants mother outside of the home and a neighbor attempting to fight the fire. Unfortunately the eleven month old would suffer seventy percent burns to his body as well as severe smoke inhalation. Lucas Noble Dingman would leave California soon after the fire and move to Iowa. However in 2015 Lucas Noble Dingman would be arrested for the fatal arson and would be extradited back to California. Lucas Noble Dingman has been fighting the charges ever since however he would be convicted of second degree murder.

Lucas Noble Dingman More News

Nearly a decade after 11-month-old Bradley Dingman died of injuries suffered in an arson fire in Apple Valley, a jury found his father guilty of second-degree murder.

Lucas Noble Dingman, 36, a former Apple Valley resident, was found guilty on Friday in Superior Court in Victorville. He is scheduled for sentencing on May 6, court documents show.

After the fire, Dingham moved to Iowa. He was arrested there in 2015 and extradited to California, where he pleaded not guilty to murder.

During court proceedings, Lucas Noble DIngham remained at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, with bail set at $1 million.

Brittany Sorenson, who babysat Bradley for nearly nine months, was in tears when she told The Daily Press that the jury’s verdict meant “justice for Bradley.”

“I hope he gets the maximum sentence for what he did to Bradley,” said Sorenson on Friday night. “I hope this low life will spend the rest of his days in prison.”

Sorenson, 30, described Bradley as one of the “happiest” babies she’d ever seen, full of life and very active.

“My 2-year-old daughter would get down on the floor and crawl and play with Bradley,” Sorenson said. “She would call him ‘Handsome Bradley’ and he would follow her everywhere.”

Sorenson said Bradley’s death left her traumatized, the main reason she moved out of state.

“To hold and care for Bradley then know that he suffered and died was too much for me to handle,” said Sorenson, who created a “Remembering Handsome Bradley” Facebook page nearly seven years ago.

In the early hours of May 20, 2011, sheriff’s deputies and the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to an apartment fire in the 20300 block of Broken Bow Road, sheriff’s officials said.

The neighborhood, mostly filled with apartments, is located north of Highway 18 and east of Rancherias Road.

Witnesses told authorities that Lucas Noble Dingman and his girlfriend, Bradley’s mother, were outside the two-story apartment as a neighbor tried to battle the blaze.

Bradley, who suffered smoke inhalation and burns to 70% of his body, was taken to a hospital but was declared dead the next day, authorities said.

Lucas Noble Dingman’s sister, Angela, told The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, an Iowa newspaper, in 2015 that her brother was also injured in the fire.

She said after waking up to the sound of a smoke alarm, her brother grabbed a bucket of water and threw it on the baby and screamed for help, The Courier reported.

“He was full of black smoke. I was there when we went and got him from the hospital. He had smoke inhalation,” Angela Dingman said. “He’s been brokenhearted ever since.”

But Sorenson told The Daily Press: “I wasn’t awake that morning, but a lot of people told me they heard Bradley’s mom screaming ‘my baby, my baby’ as her boyfriend just sat there acting odd.”

Homicide, bomb and arson personnel were called to assist with the investigation and determined the fire to be arson, sheriff’s officials said.

After many interviews, the case went cold for years until February 2014, when Cold Case Team detectives reopened the investigation.

In May 2015, Waterloo Police Department officials and investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department arrested Dingman, 29, in Iowa on a California warrant charging him with murder and child abuse resulting in death.

Dingman pleaded not guilty and denied committing the crime during an appearance at the Black Hawk County Jail, according to The Courier.

Lucas Dingman’s relatives have maintained his innocence.

A native of Minnesota, Dingman moved to California when he was young. Following the fire, he, his sister and mother moved to Iowa, where he got a job driving trucks.

His sister said he paid child support for a daughter in California, helped pay bills for the rest of his family and looked after his niece.

“I’ll always remember Bradley, my sweet little boy,” Sorenson, the former babysitter, said. “The pain and sadness are still very raw and I don’t think it will ever go away.”

Troy Driver Charged With Naomi Irion Murder

troy driver

According to sources Troy Driver has now been charged with an open count of murder in the case of Naomi Irion. Naomi Irion was last seen a few weeks ago when a man, alleged to be Troy Driver, forced his way into her car and drove off. Troy Driver would eventually be arrested and charged with the kidnapping of Naomi and a few days afterwards her body would be found in a shallow grave. Now Troy Driver has been charged with her murder.

This is not the first time Driver has been charged with murder for he spent a long time in California prison for being an accomplice to a murder when he was seventeen years old. As mentioned this is still breaking however I would not be surprised if the Nevada District Attorney does not seek the death penalty unless a plea deal is already in process.

Troy Driver More News

Troy Driver, 41, is now charged and booked on open murder with a deadly weapon in the death of 18-year-old Naomi Irion.

Driver was initially arrested on March 25 on a kidnapping charge but he’s now facing charges of open murder, burglary and destruction of evidence, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday.

Irion’s body was found in a gravesite in a remote area of Churchill County on Tuesday, March 29 after investigators were led to the area based on a tip. DNA evidence collected from the scene was determined to be that of Irion’s on Wednesday. Her death was ruled a homicide on Thursday. Authorities said her cause of death is known but they’re not releasing it because it could compromise the investigation.

A criminal complaint obtained by News 4 & Fox 11 alleged the “defendant did abduct Naomi Irion and did hold or detain her for the purpose of committing sexual assault and/or for the purpose of killing her.”

Irion was abducted from the Walmart parking lot in Fernley during the early morning hours of March 12. A man is seen on surveillance video coaxing her to the passenger side of her vehicle and driving off with her inside. Her car was found a short distance from the Walmart parking lot days after she was reported missing.

Driver was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a 1997 murder and several other violent crimes in California, according to court records and newspaper stories. Driver pleaded guilty to three charges of second-degree robbery, four firearms charges, one charge of second-degree burglary and one charge of accessory to murder after the fact.

The accessory to murder charge stemmed from a 1997 case where Driver, then 17, helped dispose of the body of a methamphetamine dealer shot and killed by his girlfriend.

Driver is in custody at the Lyon County Jail in Yerington. He’s expected to appear before a judge next on April 5 for a pre-trial hearing.

Former US National soccer player Hope Solo has been arrested for DUI and child abuse. According to police documents Hope Solo was pulled over in Winston-Salem, North Carolina after she was observed weaving all over the road. Now a DUI arrest would have been bad enough but Hope Solo was not done there as she had her twins in the back seat and to make matters worse she resisted arrest.

Hope Solo has been arrested for alcohol related charges in the past as she was arrested after being intoxicated and allegedly assaulting her sister and nephew however after numerous appeals the charges were eventually dropped. Hope Solo was brought to the police station and was released right away so something fishy is going on.

Hope Solo More News

Soccer legend Hope Solo was arrested Thursday in North Carolina for allegedly driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

Officers arrested Solo in the parking lot of a business located at 3475 Parkway Village Circle in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, according to Kira Boyd, a public information officer with the Winston-Salem Police Department.

Solo is charged with impaired driving (DWI), resisting arrest and misdemeanor child abuse.  Boyd said Solo had her two children in the car with her at the time of the incident.

Solo, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and World Cup winner, was processed and subsequently released from the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center. Boyd added based on the impending prosecution, no further information will be released.

Rich Nichols, Solo’s legal counsel, provided a statement to TMZ Friday saying “On the advice of counsel, Hope can’t speak about this situation, but she wants everyone to know that her kids are her life, that she was released immediately and is now at home with her family, that the story is more sympathetic than the initial charges suggest, and that she looks forward to her opportunity to defend these charges.”

The former soccer star has faced issues with the law before. In 2014, Solo tried to avoid a trial on misdemeanor domestic violence charges after an incident at her sister’s home, when the was accused of being intoxicated and assaulting her sister and 17-year-old nephew.  Solo said she was a victim in the altercation. In 2016, an appeals court in Washington state rejected Solo’s request to avoid trial. But the charges were dropped in 2018 after a lengthy appeals process, according to FOX11 Los Angeles and FOX Business.

Solo played for the U.S. national team from 2000 to 2016.  She won an Olympic gold in 2008 in Beijing and 2012 in London. She was also a member of the team when the squad won silver and bronze in the 2011 and 2007 World Cups, FOX Business reported.

In 2016, Solo left the national team following their exit from the Rio Olympics. She was also suspended by U.S. Soccer for six months after a fallout from a match with Sweden.
