A 15-year-old girl is dead and her father has been accused of shooting her at a Dayton apartment Sunday, according to a newly obtained 911 call and Dayton police sources to News Center 7.

At 12:20 p.m., Dayton police and medics were dispatched to the 400 block of Bowen Street on reports of a shooting, according to Dayton Police Lieutenant Steven Bauer.

neighbors heard the gunfire ring out and saw the chaos ensue.

When police arrived on scene, they located the girl. It is not immediately clear where she was found.

Bauer said she was pronounced dead on scene.

A police incident report shows Kenneth Paul Farler III, 38, was arrested and charged in connection to this shooting.

In the newly obtained 911 call, a man who identifies himself as Farler said his 15-year-old daughter had been shot.

Before Farler gets on the line, a woman can be heard pleading for help. A dispatcher continuously asked her who shot the girl but she gave no answer.

Farler told the dispatcher his 15-year-old autistic son was the one who accidentally fired the gun.

“My stepson, he’s autistic, he had no, it was an accident ma’am. He’s autistic he had no (expletive) idea what he was doing,” the 911 call said.

A police source confirmed to News Center 7 that Farler is accused of shooting his daughter.

Farler is facing preliminary charges of murder and having weapons while under disability, according to jail records.

Nancy Ledbetter lives on Bowen Street and said she heard the gunfire while cleaning around her house.

“I kind of was you know wondering what was going on so I started to walk over there and right across the street at the corner, there was a lady and I asked her, ‘Do you happen to know what’s going on?’ She says my granddaughter was shot,” Ledbetter said.

In another 911 call, a bystander said he heard the mayhem unfold.

“She’s a kid,” the caller said. “I just heard a gunshot and heard them scream.”

He told dispatch he wasn’t sure who was shot.

“I was just in my car, I heard a gunshot and heard oh my god, oh my god, oh my god,” the caller said.

Ledbetter is disappointed because she said this is just one of many problems to happen on her street.

“Shootings (are) becoming more and more of a problem,” Ledbetter said. “My grandson, he’ll be three my granddaughter will be two, and they can’t come out and play in their yard because of this and it’s just its astronomically crazy.

Even on nice days, she doesn’t feel comfortable sitting on her porch.

“My heart and my prayers go out to the family and if they need me, I’m there for them,” Ledbetter said.

The Dayton Police Department’s Homicide Unit will continue to investigate this incident.

Jason Dyer-Mitchell is an accused killer from Florida who has been charged with two murders and an attempted murder in Liberty City

According to police reports Jason Dyer-Mitchell was inside of a gas station near closing time when the owner of the property approached him regarding shoplifting. Dyer-Mitchell would pull out a gun and open fire killing Shamun Shaukat and Shahbaz Hussein and injuring a customer inside of the store

Jason Dyer-Mitchell whose criminal record includes putting a nail between his fingers and punching a man in the face in which he received probation would be arrested at his home where police is believed to have found the murder weapon

Jason Dyer-Mitchell has been charged with two counts of second degree murder and one count of attempted murder

Jason Dyer-Mitchell News

Shamun Shaukat was about to close the Chevron gas station when he suspected a troubled 23-year-old man from Ohio was shoplifting and he confronted him, according to an arrest report the Miami police released on Sunday morning.

Jason Dyer-Mitchell took out a gun at about 12:30 a.m., on Saturday, at 1701 NW 54 St., in Liberty City, and started shooting — killing Shaukat, 42, and Shahbaz Hussain and wounding Elijah Shorter.

According to the police report, a hoodie helped detectives to identify Jason Dyer-Mitchell. It was black and had “POWER” in white font, and it was from the Powerhouse Gym Miami where he was a member.

Miami police officers arrested Dyer-Mitchell about five hours after the fatal shooting at a nearby sixth-floor apartment in the Liberty Village condominium building across the street from the gas station, according to police.

In the apartment, police officers found a fanny pack with a 9 mm magazine and an IWI Masada 9mm pistol, according to the arrest report. Dyer-Mitchell refused to talk to detectives.

Court records show Dyer-Mitchell had been on probation in Miami-Dade County until Sept. 11 after a felony case before Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Marisa Tinkler Mendez.

Miami Beach police officers arrested Dyer-Mitchell on Jan. 3, 2022, in South Beach after accusing him of placing a nail between his knuckles and punching a man with it in the face outside of a hostel.

Records show witnesses told Miami Beach police officers that Dyer-Mitchell was drinking straight out of a bottle of vodka and police officers found ecstasy and marijuana in his backpack.

Court records show Miami-Dade prosecutors dropped the marijuana possession charges.

The court withheld adjudication on the felony charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and possession of a controlled substance, and on the alcohol-related municipal ordinance, records show.

Court records show that without having to go to prison with a 2-year probation sentence, corrections released Dyer-Mitchell to the Camillus House for services. His probation started on June 22, 2022, and ended on Sept. 11.

After the gas station shooting, Miami-Dade correctional officers booked Dyer-Mitchell again at about 3:30 a.m., on Sunday, at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.

Police in Oklahoma have arrested four people in the disappearance and murder of Veronica Butler and Jilian Killey who vanished on March 30 2024

According to police reports Tifany Adams, 54, Tad Cullum, 43, Cole Twombly, 50, and Cora Twombly, 44, have all been arrested and have been charged with kidnapping and murder

Veronica Butler and Jilian Killey were traveling to pick up Butler’s two children when the women disappeared. Butler had been going through a custody battle with her ex husband.

Tifany Adams is the Grandmother of the two children and Tad Callum is her boyfriend. Cole Twombly and Cora Twombly are friends of Adams.

It is believed that Veronica Butler and Jilian Killey were shot outside of their vehicle when they were heading to Tifany Adams home to pick up the two children. Jilian Killey was there to supervise the visit

Tifany Adams, Tad Callum, Cole Twombly and Cora Twombly have been charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder, two counts of Kidnapping, and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Murder in the First Degree

Veronica Butler and Jilian Killey News

Authorities in Oklahoma booked four people on suspicion of kidnapping and murder in connection with the March disappearance of two women who are still missing.

The four, arrested and booked Saturday, were identified as Tad Bert Cullum, 43; Tifany Machel Adams, 54; Cole Earl Twombly, 50; and Cora Twombly, 44.

They were booked into the Texas County Jail in Oklahoma on suspicion of first-degree murder, kidnapping and conspiracy to commit murder, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said in a statement on Saturday.

State court records did not appear to show charges had been filed, and the suspects’ names were not yet listed among active inmates. It wasn’t clear if the suspects had legal representation.

Authorities weren’t saying what may be behind the the disappearance, only that the four were arrested in Texas and Cimarron counties in the westernmost section of the Oklahoma panhandle.

“The OSBI and local law enforcement are still currently working to locate the two victims,” the bureau of investigation said.

Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, were the subjects of an “endangered missing advisory” issued by Texas County authorities on March 30 after a vehicle they were traveling in was found abandoned in a rural part of Texas County south of Elkhart, Kansas, the bureau said.

“OSBI special agents immediately began investigating the vehicle and determined there was evidence to indicate foul play,” it said in Saturday’s statement.

Bureau spokesperson Hunter McKee said previously that Texas County Sheriff’s Office deputies first came upon the vehicle. They approached the vehicle, but “these women are gone and they’re nowhere to be seen,” he said.

The investigation was challenged by just how remote the area was, he said, with few if any homes and businesses where authorities might typically find security cameras.

Investigators didn’t reveal exactly what evidence suggested the possibility that a crime had taken place.

The two were en route to pick up children, though it wasn’t clear if the children belonged to one, both or neither of the women. Bureau spokesperson Hunter McKee said investigators believe the two are friends.

Butler’s stepmother, Guadalupe Torres, said in an interview that Butler was in the midst of a heated custody dispute. Court records show she is a party to a custody claim that was first filed in 2021.

Though the bookings connected to the investigation included allegations of murder, authorities have so far stopped short of saying they’re searching for bodies.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the women is asked to contact the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at [email protected] or 1-800-522-8017.

Maxwell Anderson Murders Sade Robinson

Maxwell Anderson
Maxwell Anderson

Maxwell Anderson is an accused killer from Wisconsin who has been charged with the murder of Sade Robinson

According to police reports Maxwell Anderson and Sade Robinson had met at a restaurant for their first date where the young woman was last seen alive

Police were able to track Sade Robinson phone to a nearby park where they made a horrific discovery of body parts

Police would then track down Maxwell Anderson through his phone and determined he was in the same place as the discovery of Sade Robinson body

Police believe that Maxwell Anderson would dismember Sade Robinson and would later torch her car in order to cover up the murder

Maxwell Anderson has been charged with first degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and arson of property other than a building.

Maxwell Anderson News

Maxwell Anderson, 33, has been charged in connection to the death and disappearance of 19-year-old Sade Robinson. Investigators say Anderson intentionally killed and then dismembered Robinson with the intent to conceal the murder.

Anderson has been charged with first degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and arson of property other than a building.

According to the criminal complaint, investigators used cellphone data and surveillance footage to piece together the details of what happened to Robinson.

The complaint says on Monday, April 1, Anderson and Robinson met for a first date at Twisted Fisherman, a seafood restaurant located on Canal Street in Milwaukee. Investigators say surveillance footage shows the two sitting at the same table and eating at the restaurant around 5:30 p.m. and leaving just before 6:30 p.m.

Investigators used Life360, an app that provides the location of a mobile device, to track Robinson’s phone the night of April 1. The data showed Robinson’s phone traveled from Twisted Fisherman to the area of Duke’s on Water, and then to the area of Anderson’s residence — near 39th and Oklahoma.

Robinson’s device, according to the complaint, then traveled to the area of Warnimont Park between 2 and 3 a.m. — the area where officials made the first disturbing discovery hours later.

Just after 7:30 a.m. on April 2, officials found Robinson’s 2020 Honda Civic torched near 29th and Lisbon. Video surveillance shows Anderson leaving the scene and getting on a Milwaukee County transit bus just after 8 a.m. heading south towards his home. Around 5:30 p.m., the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office located a severed leg in Warnimont Park.

Just after 1 a.m. April 4, Anderson was pulled over near 38th and Lakefield Drive by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office in a traffic stop that led to his arrest. In his car was the clothing he was wearing when he allegedly torched Robinson’s car. That same day, investigators executed a search warrant at Anderson’s residence. According to the complaint, blood was found on bedding in one of the bedrooms and on the walls leading toward the basement. Several gasoline containers were also found.

On Saturday, April 6, officials found a human foot while searching the area of 31st and Galena.

According to the criminal complaint, the leg found in Warnimont Park appeared to be from the same individual as the foot found near 31st and Galena, particularly due to skin tone, size, and having matching pink nail polish.

The complaint says, analysis done by the Wisconsin State Crime Lab showed DNA from the leg found in Warnimont Park determined the remains belonged to Robinson.

A probable cause statement was issued for Anderson’s arrest, and he was placed into custody last week.

The DA’s office placed Anderson on a 72-hour-hold until blood evidence had been processed, and before any formal charges could drop.

According to court documents, in 2014, Anderson plead guilty to a disorderly conduct charge. That same year, he was also charged with domestic abuse – that charge was later dismissed.

In 2015, court documents show Anderson was found guilty of domestic abuse, intimidating a witness, and criminal damage to property.

In 2019, Anderson, was found guilty for his second offense of driving while under the influence.

Most recently, in 2022, Anderson was found guilty of driving with a suspended license.
