Christian Gonzalez is a sixteen year old alleged teen killer who has been charged with the murder of four year old Octavia Aquino
According to police reports emergency personnel were called to an apartment in Evansville Indiana where they would find four year old Octavia Aquino unresponsive. The child’s mother Destiny Rhoades, 23, would tell emergency personnel that she found her daughter not breathing
Destiny Rhoades would tell officers that she confronted her boyfriend Christian Gonzalez regarding the bite mark on the child and he claimed it was from the cat. When she told him she had a camera setup in the living room Christian would change his story and admitted to biting the child
Officers would also notice a number of bruises on Octavia Aquino body
After an autopsy Destiny Rhoades would be arrested and charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death. Christian Gonzalez has been arrested, charged as an adult with the murder of Octavia

New charges have been placed on Destiny Rhoades following the death of her 4-year-old daughter Octavia Aquino.
According to a release from Evansville Police Department, Rhoades’ original charge of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury has been changed to Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death.
The 16-year old offender and Rhoades’ boyfriend, Christian Gonzalez, has been waved to adult court and his original charge of Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury has been changed to Murder. He has been transported to Vanderburgh County Confinement Center.
The cause of death is unknown at this time as an autopsy has been scheduled this week for the victim.

An Indiana teen has been charged with the murder of a four-year-old in Evansville.
Evansville Police say 16-year-old Christian T. Gonzalez of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who was arrested last week in connection to the death of 4-year-old Octavia Aquino, was waived from juvenile court and is now being charged with Murder. They say his 23-year-old girlfriend and the mother of the child, Destiny Rhoades, will also face the charge of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death.
Aquino passed away over the weekend after she was found unresponsive in an apartment on Spring Valley Road late last week. When officers arrived to the apartment, they found the child to be “cold to the touch” and transported her to a hospital. Gonzalez and others were in the apartment while the mother was at work.
The 4-year-old child’s autopsy scheduled for late Monday.
Gonzalez was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on Monday afternoon.
