Chozen Terrell-Hannah Arrested For Armed Robberies

Chozen Terrell-Hannah

Chozen Terrell-Hannah who is known on Tik Tok for his dance moves has been arrested for a string of armed robberies in Michigan. According to police reports Chozen Terrell-Hannah is responsible for at least four armed robberies from December 2021 to February 2022. Turns out the downfall of Chozen Terrell-Hannah was that the sneakers he is seen wearing in his Tik Tok videos were the same as the suspect responsible for the armed robberies. Chozen Terrell-Hannah has a following on Tik Tok of 149,000 followers and 1.6 million likes.

Federal agents investigating a series of armed robberies across Metro Detroit have arrested a popular TikTok personality after he was spotted dancing in what investigators described as his stick-up shoes.

Redford Township resident Chozen Terrell-Hannah, 22, admitted robbing four stores after investigators raided his home Wednesday despite eyewitnesses describing the armed thief as a white man, according to the FBI. Terrell-Hannah is African-American.

A criminal complaint describes a three-month crime spree targeting retail shops, fancy footwear and a federal investigation aided by dozens of brief videos posted to Terrell-Hannah’s TikTok account “ChozenWrld,” which has more than 148,000 followers and 1.6 million likes.

Chozen Terrell-Hannah is being held without bond while awaiting a detention hearing Monday in federal court in Detroit. He is charged with robbery affecting interstate commerce and possessing a firearm during a violent crime, charges that could result in a prison sentence of more than 20 years.

His court-appointed lawyer, James Gerometta, declined comment Friday.

The investigation started Dec. 1 after a man wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black ski mask and white shoes, and carrying a black backpack decorated with pink flowers, robbed the 7-Eleven in the 700 block of Benstein in Commerce Township.

He pointed a black handgun at the clerk, collected money and fled.

More than one month later, on Jan. 13, a man wearing a similar outfit, carrying a similar backpack, robbed the Marathon gas station in the 23000 block of Ford Road in Dearborn.

The robber demanded cash while pressing a black handgun into the clerk’s back before fleeing with money. He grabbed an 18-pack of cigars while leaving the store where investigators would soon find a clue: a .40-caliber bullet near the counter.

On Jan. 26, a similarly dressed man, carrying a black backpack decorated with pink flowers, robbed the same 7-Eleven on Benstein in Commerce Township. He demanded money.

“The clerk initially refused but complied after the subject pulled back the slide of the gun in a motion of chambering a round and ejected a round onto the counter,” an FBI task force officer wrote in the complaint. “This round, which was recovered later, was .40 caliber.”

Then, the robber fled.

The fourth robbery happened at an Old West Tobacco store in the 45000 block of West Pontiac Trail in Novi on Feb. 1. This time, the robber was described as a man wearing the same clothing as the earlier robberies, but investigators noticed pink or red hair emerging from the black ski mask.

“After the money was placed into the bag, the subject took several boxes of cigars and then fled the store,” the FBI task force officer wrote.

A tipster led Dearborn police investigators to a possible suspect with the account “Chozenn_One” on the Snapchat phone app. Investigators learned the account had been changed to “ChozenWrld” and they later found a TikTok profile with the same name.

The account and videos helped Dearborn investigators identify Chozen Terrell-Hannah, according to the criminal complaint.

His physical characteristics are consistent with eyewitness accounts, the FBI task force officer wrote, though some victims estimated that the robber was taller, and a white man.

“Based on my training and experience, I believe due to (Chozen Terrell-Hannah’s) light complexion, the victims of armed robberies, observing him under the circumstances and wearing the clothing described above, could describe him as either white or black,” the FBI task force officer wrote.

Investigators focused on TikTok videos that showed Chozen Terrell-Hannah dancing and lip-syncing with a head of hair partially dyed pinkish purple.

They noted a Sept. 24, 2020, post that featured Chozen Terrell-Hannah dancing in white Nike tennis shoes with red accents.

These shoes are similar in appearance to the shoes worn in the above referenced armed robberies,” the FBI task force officer wrote.

Investigators started surveilling Chozen Terrell-Hannah on Feb. 9 outside his home in Redford Township and in the ensuing days, including a Feb. 11 visit to an area Pet Supplies Plus. And they checked police databases and found a phone number for Terrell-Hannah, which led to investigators obtaining a search warrant for the phone’s historical location data.

The data showed that the location of the cellphone “was consistent with being in the geographic area of/around the locations of the above-described armed robberies around the reported times for each incident,” the FBI task force officer wrote.

Investigators raided his home Wednesday.

“A search of the residence led to the seizure of items believed to be used in the armed robberies including a black Glock handgun, a black backpack with a floral pattern, a skeleton full body suit, and white Nike tennis shoes,” the FBI task force officer wrote.

Chozen Terrell-Hannah later talked with investigators.

“(He) admitted to committing all four of the above-described armed robberies and acknowledged using the black backpack with a floral pattern in all four of the armed robberies,” the officer wrote. “(Terrell-Hannah) explained that skeleton gloves observed during the armed robberies were actually part of a full body skeleton suit.”

According to police reports Trezell West reported Orson West, 3, and Orrin West, 4, missing after he told police he briefly went into his California City, California home and came back to find the two little boys missing. There would be a massive search for the two boys and a ton of community support however the story took a dark turn today, March 1 2022, when their adopted father Trezell West was charged with two counts of murder. two counts of willful cruelty to a child and falsely reporting an emergency. The California City police early on suspected foul play however nothing in the West residence showed any evidence. The boys natural father, Charles Pettus, is suing the county for taking the boys away from him and failing to protect them.

  • Jacqueline West has also been arrested and charged with 2 counts of murder

Trezell West More News

A stunning development has occurred in the case of missing California City brothers Orrin and Orson West with murder charges filed Tuesday against Trezell West, their adoptive father.

Trezell West was not listed in custody as of 5 p.m. He’s charged with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of willful cruelty to a child and falsely reporting an emergency.

Orrin, 4, and 3-year-old Orson were reportedly last seen Dec. 21, 2020, playing outside the home where they lived with adoptive parents Trezell and Jacqueline West.

Trezell West said he had been gathering firewood and briefly went back inside. When he came out the boys were gone, he said.

They were reported missing to the California City Police Department that day. The department searched the home and brought the Wests in for questioning.

Police Chief John Walker told media in late December 2020 that foul play was suspected but nothing was found while searching the home. He said he didn’t believe they wandered into the desert because a thorough search aided by a helicopter with infrared took place covering a 5-mile perimeter.

Also, it was only 30 degrees Fahrenheit that night. Walker said the cold would have slowed the children.

Through the support of several local businesses and organizations, more than $100,000 in reward money was offered to anyone with information that led to the discovery of the boys.

In early March of last year, the Bakersfield Police Department took over as the lead agency in the investigation from the Cal City Police Department. The FBI and National Center for Missing & Exploited Children were also involved.

By June, the BPD said 44 search warrants had been served, 83 people interviewed and 170 items seized. Police did not elaborate on what was seized.

Police said 16 “mass area” searches had been conducted at that point and investigators had searched three locations outside the state and followed up on more than 200 tips. Data was extracted from cellular and electronic devices and seized items forensically examined.

All family members connected to the boys were interviewed.

The boys’ biological father, Charles Pettus, has filed a lawsuit against Kern County alleging officials were negligent in taking the boys from their birth parents and placing them in the custody of the West family.

Pettus told 17 News in December he couldn’t understand how the boys went missing after the county took them from him, supposedly for safe keeping.

“I don’t want my kids to be deceased. I want them to come back,” he said at the time. “My kids is all I got. After my parents pass it’s just me and my kids.

Jacqueline West Arrested

The adoptive parents of two little California boys who vanished in 2020 have been arrested on murder and other charges, according to police and court records.

Trezell West and Jacqueline West were arrested Tuesday, Bakersfield police Lt. Jason Townsend told KERO-TV and The Bakersfield Californian.

Kern County Superior Court online records show both parents are charged with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of willful cruelty to a child and one count each of false report of an emergency.

Both parents were held without bail and face “arraignment on indictment” on Thursday, according to the records. The records do not indicate whether they have attorneys to speak on their behalf.

Orrin West, 4, and his brother Orson, 3, were reported missing from the family home in the desert town of California City in December 2020.

The investigation involved searches in California City and Bakersfield, about 60 miles to the west, where the boys lived before moving in September 2020.

Trezell West Other News – March 2/2022

Two young brothers died three months before their adoptive parents, who have been arrested on murder charges, reported them missing in late 2020, the Kern County district attorney announced Wednesday.

Speaking at a news conference, DA Cynthia Zimmer said an investigation confirmed the deaths of Orrin West, 4, and his brother Orson, 3.

The boys’ bodies have not been found, Zimmer said, adding: “However, I would like to emphasize the fact that law enforcement has not found their bodies does not preclude a murder prosecution. As a matter of fact, there have been many hundreds of what we call ‘no body homicides’ prosecuted across the United States, successfully.

In December 2020, the boys’ adoptive parents, Trezell West and Jacqueline West, reported that the brothers had disappeared from the backyard of their California City home.

Police launched a search of the area, which was later joined by the FBI, California Highway Patrol, a Kern County sheriff’s search and rescue team, and members of the community. The search expanded to Bakersfield, about 60 miles to the west, where the boys lived before moving in September 2020.

Trezell West and Jacqueline West were arrested Tuesday and were each charged with five counts: two counts of murder, two counts of felony child abuse and one count of filing a false report of an emergency, Zimmer said.

Both parents are being held without bail and are expected to be arraigned in court on Thursday. Online records do not indicate whether they have attorneys to speak on their behalf.

“This is not the outcome that we in so many had hoped and prayed for over the last year,” Chief Greg Terry said at Wednesday’s press conference. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of orange and Orson who, with this news today, their worst fears have been realized.

According to police reports Shelley Vaughn and her boyfriend were in an argument and he had asked her to leave. Shelley Vaughn responded by throwing his keys and cellphone off of the balcony. Shelley Vaughn would then grab the dog, smiled at her boyfriend and threw the dog off of the seventh floor balcony. Needless to say the dog did not survive. Shelley Vaughn was arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty, domestic disturbance and criminal mischief.

A Pinellas County man says his girlfriend smiled before she threw his dog off the seventh floor balcony of his Clearwater Beach apartment.

Shelley Nicole Vaughn has been charged with felony animal cruelty for killing the 3-year-old pug. Eric Adeson is just numb.

“I never thought anybody could do that,” said Adeson. “I never thought anybody would have that in them.”

Adeson says he is traumatized after watching the woman he loves kill his pet, Bucky.

“She picked up Bucky over there, and she just smiled and just threw them off the balcony,” said Adeson.

The pup plunged seven stories onto the asphalt parking lot below. Bucky did not survive.

“I went downstairs and I hugged him, but I mean, it was seven floors, so. I kept thinking maybe he’d get up,” Adeson said.

He said Vaughn had been drinking and using drugs mid-morning Sunday before it happened.

They were fighting and the 46-year-old threw Adeson’s cellphone and keys over the railing before grabbing Bucky.

“There is no justice. I mean, nothing’s going to bring Bucky back,” he said.

Adeson says his 13-pound friend was playful and sweet, even if he sometimes got into the trash. He got Bucky as a puppy in 2019 to be a companion for his puggle Sandy who was going through cancer treatments.

“Never thinking in a million-years that Sandy would survive the cancer and still be alive at 13 and actually outlive Bucky. That’s the tragedy of it,” said Adeson.

Vaughn was arrested by Clearwater police Monday afternoon.

According to Adeson, this is not the first time Vaughn lashed out at him with violence. Hours earlier, Adeson got a restraining order against her since she lives two floors down in the same building. He has also filed a civil lawsuit.

“We felt it necessary to do something big and loud to scream to the community that these kind of acts are unacceptable. We are not going to allow that kind of behavior in our community,” said attorney Katherine Neal with Carey Leisure & Neal.

Vaughn is charged with aggravated animal cruelty, criminal mischief, and domestic battery.

Officers in Wisconsin said they found a severed head at a home and body parts in other locations, according to a criminal complaint made public.

Taylor Schabusiness, 24, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault, WBAY reported.

A court commissioner set her bond at $2 million cash at a hearing Tuesday afternoon. Schabusiness seemed calm when she appeared in Brown County court via video conference. She said little, only acknowledging that she has the right to an attorney.

The prosecutor called this “one of the most serious offenses we had in this county in some time.”

The state argued Schabusiness has ties to Texas, raising a concern she’s a flight risk. The prosecution also said Schabusiness was on put on probation seven weeks before the crime and supposed to be on monitoring but apparently wasn’t wearing her monitoring bracelet.

“I think the facts alleged are extremely concerning and disturbing and go to the violent nature and grave nature of the offense,” Assistant District Attorney Caleb Saunders said in court.

Green Bay police said they were called to a home around 3:25 a.m. local time Feb. 23. A person who lived in the home reported finding the severed head in a bucket.

Police located the human head in the basement of the home. A towel had been placed over it, and dried blood was found on a nearby mattress.

Investigators learned Schabusiness may have been the last person seen with the victim. They found her at a home and said she had dried blood on her clothing.

Police searched Schabusiness’ van and found a box with “additional human body parts including legs” on the rear passenger seat, according to the criminal complaint.

Police obtained a search warrant for the home. They found multiple other body parts, body fluids and knives.

Investigators said Taylor Schabusiness told them she and the victim had been doing drugs and having sex. She said they had used chains while having sex, and she went “crazy” and started strangling the victim.

A detective said she admitted to hiding the body parts, according to the complaint. She also went into detail about the weapons she used to dismember the body.

“Taylor Schabusiness made the comment that at one point, she did get paranoid and lazy and that she thought it was the ‘dope’ that was making her paranoid,” officials said in the complaint.

Investigators said she told them she did not mean to kill the victim, but she enjoyed choking him and continued to do it.

Police met with the victim’s family Tuesday.

Police, forensic teams and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office investigated and processed multiple locations associated with the crime.

A 24-year-old Green Bay woman was charged on Tuesday with killing and then decapitating a Green Bay man at a west-side home last week after smoking methamphetamine with him.

Taylor Schabusiness is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and third-degree sexual assault. In a criminal complaint, Brown County prosecutors accused her of removing parts of the victim’s body, using a bread knife and another knife found at the scene of the killing.

The complaint describes how officers made their grisly discovery in a home in the 800 block of Stony Brook Lane. A police officer went down the basement stairs and saw a plastic bucket on the floor. He “lifted the towel and observed a human head inside the bucket. (He) … looked around the room and observed what appeared to be dried blood on a nearby mattress,” the complaint said.

Officers and detectives found other blood around the home’s basement, as well.

Brown County Court Commissioner Chad Resar on Tuesday set bail for Schabusiness at $2 million. Assistant Brown County District Attorney Caleb Saunders cited the “violent and grave nature of the offense” and said the killing was one of the most serious to have been committed in Brown County in a long time.

Green Bay police officers had been called about 3:25 a.m. Feb. 23 to the home on Stony Brook Lane, where they found the victim’s body. Police have yet to reveal his name.

Schabusiness was taken into custody Feb. 23 at a home in the 2300 block of Eastman Avenue on the city’s east side. She was “a known associate of the victim,” Green Bay police said Tuesday in a news release

In the criminal complaint, prosecutors said Schabusiness and the man first smoked methamphetamine together on Feb. 23. They then began a sexual encounter that included Schabusiness choking the man with a chain, the complaint said, and eventually strangling him with her bare hands.

She also made comments to detectives, the complaint said, “asking if they knew what it was like to love something so much that you kill it.”

It was unclear from the complaint exactly when the victim stopped breathing; Schabusiness estimated that it took 3 to 5 minutes from when she began choking the man, but could not be exact because she had blacked out at some point.

Stacey Schuchart Pleads Guilty To 1 YR Old’s Murder

Stacey Schuchart

Stacey Schuchart is a women from Kentucky who just plead guilty to the murder of her one year old son. According to court documents Stacey Schuchart had phoned 911 telling the operator that her seventeen month old son had hit his head and was not breathing. After the infant was rushed to the hospital where doctors were unable to save him. The seventeen month old infant, Sean Schuchart, was examined by doctors who would find a host of injuries including a broken arm,  severe bruising to several areas of his head and eyes, and swelling of the brain consistent with repeated blunt force trauma. Stacey Schuchart would be arrested and eventually pleaded guilty to the murder. It is expected that she will receive a thirty five year prison sentence.

Stacey Schuchart More News

A Dayton, Kentucky, woman is awaiting sentencing following her guilty plea to a charge related to the brutal beating of her 1-year-old son that led to the child’s death, court records show.

Stacey Schuchart, 32, pleaded guilty last week to a single count of murder, according to documents filed in Campbell County Circuit Court. She previously pleaded not guilty in November 2019.

Documents say Schuchart was home alone with her 1-year-old son, Sean Buttery Jr., and her 3-year-old daughter on the afternoon of Aug. 16, 2019, when she called 911 and reported Sean had hit his head on the microwave and wasn’t breathing.

Emergency responders arrived at the house and discovered Sean in critical condition, “with a collection of injuries beyond bumping his head on the microwave,” the documents read

Sean was rushed to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where attempts to save his life were unsuccessful and he succumbed to his injuries.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office performed an autopsy and found the cause of death was “homicidal violence,” documents state.  The investigation found that any supposed contact between Sean’s head and the microwave didn’t contribute to his death

Instead, investigators found bruises covering Sean’s head, as well as injuries to the brain and eyes that were the result of multiple blunt impacts, documents say, adding the injuries were more akin to those found in “a serious automobile accident” rather than an at-home incident.

Investigators also found severe injuries to the child’s pelvis, consistent with him being stomped on or struck by a heavy object while on the floor, documents say. The coroner’s office ultimately determined Sean was “beaten to death.”

Documents say the injuries happened while Schuchart was alone with her two children and that she was the only one present at the time who was capable of causing Sean’s injuries.

Sean’s father, who left early for work on the day of Sean’s death and didn’t leave his workplace until after learning of his son’s injuries, indicated that Sean was uninjured the night before, according to the documents.

The children were not legally allowed to be in Schuchart’s care at the time of the incident, documents state, adding they had been removed from her home and placed in the temporary custody of her sister by court order.

Documents say the children had been living with Stacey Schuchart illegally for almost a month.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for noon on March 29, court records show. The Campbell County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is recommending a sentence of 35 years in prison with parole eligibility after 20 years.

According to the documents, that sentence will run consecutive to any backup time Stacey Schuchart may have from previous convictions in Kenton and Campbell counties
