Rebecca Lynn Henley is a woman from Arkansas who was just granted custody of her teenage son and would stab the boy to death over the weekend. According to police reports Rebecca Lynn Henley would call 911 and told the operator she killed him for ‘righteousness, to save everybody. The sixteen year old boy was rushed to hospital however he would pass away from his injuries. A mother from Mountain Home faces murder charges in the death of her 16-year-old son.
Rebecca Lynn Henley, 44, faces a first-degree murder charge. A judge set a bond of $500,000.
Investigators responded to a call Sunday around 10:30 p.m. for a victim with a stab wound. The victim later died at Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Mountain Home Police were investigating a stabbing death that involved a mother and son Sunday night.
Police said at approximately 10:45 p.m., a call came in from 911 reporting a stabbing. Rebecca Lynn Henley, 46, reportedly was the caller, who stated she had just woke up and stabbed her son.
When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest.
The victim was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center where he later died.
During an interview with police, Henley told authorities “she had to kill him for righteousness, to save everybody.”
She was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder and placed in the Baxter County Jail with a $500,000 Bond.
Mountain Home Police Department and the Arkansas State Police were conducting the investigation.
