A 19-year-old was arrested over the weekend in Oklahoma City after police say he stabbed his 25-year-old brother while playing a video game, resulting in the brother’s death.
According to officials, just before 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a domestic stabbing near SE 44th Street and S Bryant Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that two brothers were playing video games when the 19-year-old, William Spencer, became angry with his brother, Nicholas Spencer, and stabbed him.
“The calling person called in and said they had just stabbed their brother, officers got here and found a male with serious stab wounds,” said Msgt. Rob Robertson, OKCPD.
Nicholas was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
William was arrested at the scene. He was later booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a murder complaint.
