Maryanne Cazares and Tyler Jones More News

A mother and her boyfriend in Riverbank were arrested Thursday in connection with the fentanyl overdose death of the mother’s 18-month-old child, a spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called to a trailer park in the 5900 block of Newbrook Circle on Dec. 16 just after 1 p.m. for a call about a boy who wasn’t breathing.

Because of the age of the child and what deputies observed at the scene, the major crimes unit was also called to respond, Sgt. Erich Layton with the sheriff’s office said.

They authorized a search warrant of the home and found narcotics, drug paraphernalia and fentanyl. Authorities believe the drugs were accessible to the child.

The mother, 25-year-old Maryanne Cazares and her 31-year-old boyfriend Tyler Jones were transported to the sheriff’s office for questioning.

During the interview, both admitted to falling asleep while the child was playing on the floor. Jones also admitted that he hid the drugs before law enforcement arrived, according to the sheriff’s office.

An autopsy was performed on the child and the coroner confirmed the 18-month-old died of a fentanyl overdose. He had a lethal amount of it in his blood and gastric contents.

On Thursday, the mother was called to the sheriff’s office and arrested, and the boyfriend was pulled over while riding a bicycle in Oakdale and arrested.

The mother also has a 5-year-old girl who was out of state at the time. The sheriff’s office called local law enforcement there to do a welfare check and found she had drug paraphernalia on her, too. That girl is now in the custody of relatives.

Both the mother and boyfriend were charged with homicide in connection with the 18-month-old and child abuse for the 5-year-old.

It is unknown if the boyfriend was the father of either child.

Zachary and William Zulock Charged In Sexual Horrors

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock

Zachary and William Zulock are a married couple from Georgia who have been charged in a long list of sexual crimes against their adopted children. According to police reports Zachary Zulock and William Zulock would sexually abuse their adopted children, film the atrocities and then make the videos available to others. To make matters even worse Zachary Zulock and William Zulock would also allow other people to abuse the children.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock have been charged with felony sexual exploitation of children, aggravated child molestation, felony prostitution of a minor, aggravated sodomy, and incest. If convicted they will spend the rest of their lives in prison and its a shame the death penalty is not on the table.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock More News

Georgia couple is being accused of sexually abusing their adopted children and using them to produce “homemade” child pornography, prosecutors allege, according to a new report.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock were arrested on July 27 in Oxford, Georgia, after police raided their home and found video evidence that they were “engaging in sexually abusive acts” with the adopted children.

The couple is now facing a grand jury indictment under charges of felony sexual exploitation of children, aggravated child molestation, felony prostitution of a minor, aggravated sodomy, and incest, amounting to possibly nine life sentences, according to court documents obtained by Townhall.

Both men have pleaded not guilty. Their attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital

According to the indictment, the boys, both in third and fourth grade at the time of the arrest, were sexually abused by the couple who anally raped the minors in addition to performing oral sex on them. The indictment also alleges that the couple forced the boys to perform oral sex on them, and in on case, the older sibling was injured due to the anal rape.

The documents state that the Zulock’s sexual abuse of the children dates back to potentially 2019. According to the report, the boys were adopted in November 2018 when the couple went through a now-shut down Christian adoption agency focusing on special-needs children in Watkinsville, Georgia, called All God’s Children, Inc.

William Zulock allegedly admitted to forcing the couple’s 11-year-old adopted son to “perform an act of sodomy – oral capitulation” with the “intent to satisfy his own..sexual desire,” police wrote in an affidavit obtained by Townhall.

In a press release posted to Facebook when the couple was first arrested, police said that they were tipped off after a Georgia Bureau of Investigation detective received information about someone who “may have been downloading child sexual abuse material.” After an investigation and interview with the suspect, police found that there was a secondary suspect who “was producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one adopted child who lived in the home with the perpetrator

Another affidavit states that Zachary Zulock filmed his husband, William Zulock, performing acts of sexual abuse on the child. Zachary is accused of also being “engaged in sexually abusive acts” on the boy as well, the affidavit states.

Zachary allegedly told police in a recorded interview that the “routine” sexual abuse of their children was sent to “less than a dozen people.”

The men were also charged with soliciting two other men through social media to “perform an act of prostitution” on one of their children, the court documents state, adding that Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, and Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, 25, were both part of the prostitution ring.

Lawless told police that he received “numerous” Snapchat messages from Zachary which allegedly said “f–king [his] son tonight,” telling him to “be prepared” to get images and “video documentation” of the sexual abuse, court documents state, adding that the men met on the gay hookup app Grindr.

“I’m going to f–k my son tonight. Stand by,” Zachary messaged Lawless, according to prosecutors.

Lawless told police that he didn’t engage in sexual contact with the Zulock’s children but said that Zachary asked him to participate “multiple times.”

A folder titled “US” on Zachary’s phone was found by law enforcement and allegedly contained videos of his husband, William, participating in acts of sexual abuse on one of the children.

Included in the evidence collected by law enforcement are the 149 images, a text message from Lawless, a Snapchat letter, and Sexual Assault Nurse Examination results conducted on the children, court documents state.

Zachary and William Zulock Sentencing

A Georgia couple will spend the rest of their lives in prison after sexually abusing two young boys they adopted.

William Zulock and Zachary Zulock of Walton County were sentenced to 100 years in prison without parole on Thursday after they both pled guilty to several charges related to sexually assaulting their adopted children.

“Those involved with the investigation and prosecution of this case will never forget what they had to see and hear in this case,” District Attorney Randy McGinley said in a statement. “These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else.”

“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case,” he added. “The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring.

The investigation began in July 2022, when police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspected “homemade child sexual abuse material,” McGinley said in his statement. This led investigators to Hunter Lawless, a man who admitted to viewing this material and claimed he received it from Zachary, according to McGinley.

Lawless was sentenced to 20 years, with the first 12 to be served in prison, after pleading guilty to charges related to the material. He also cooperated with police as they investigated the Zulocks.

Officers then searched the Zulocks’ residence, and the couple admitted to sexually abusing their two boys, according to McGinley. In their search, police seized indoor surveillance cameras and their cell phones. This led them to discover footage of the Zulocks abusing the children.

The couple sent text messages and made posts about the abuse. Luis Vizcarro-Sanchez was one of the people receiving messages from Zachary about the abuse, McGinley said. He later pleaded guilty to Pandering for a Person Under 18

“This resolution will help the victims continue their process of healing,” McGinley said. “William and Zachary Zulock will now spend 100 years in prison without parole. This all but guarantees that the victims will not have to worry as they grow older about their abusers being free.”

William Zulock pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated sodomy; three counts of aggravated child molestation; two counts of incest; and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Zachary pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sodomy; three counters of aggravated child molestation; two counts of sodomy; three counts of sexual exploitation of children; and two counts of pandering for a person under 18.

He pleaded not guilty to two counts of incest, but a judge found him guilty on those charges after a brief bench trial earlier this year.

The body of Amore Joveah Wiggins was found in Alabama in 2012 in a case that grabbed the Nation’s attention and went unsolved for eleven years. Authorities were finally able to tie Amore Joveah Wiggins father Lamar Vickerstaff to the murder. Ruth Vickerstaff who is the stepmother of the little girl has been charged with failure to report a missing child. Lamar Vickerstaff faces charges of felony murder, aggravated child abuse and failure to report a missing child

Lamar and Ruth Vickerstaff More News

A couple were arrested in Jacksonville on Tuesday in connection with a formerly unidentified girl found dead in Alabama in 2012.

The girl, formerly known as Opelika Baby Jane Doe, was identified as Amore Joveah Wiggins, according to the Opelika Police Department.

Lamar Vickerstaff, who is Amore’s biological father, is being charged with felony murder.

Ruth Vickerstaff, who is Amore’s stepmother, is charged with failure to report a missing child.

They are currently being held in the Duval County Jail pending extradition to Lee County, Ala.

January 28, 2012: Opelika Police responded to Brookhaven Trailer Park, located at 1775 Hurst Street in Opelika, AL, where skeletal remains were found. A skull was located in the yard of a residence while the majority of the bones were located only a few feet into the wood line behind a trailer and the adjacent lot.

During the search of the area, a pink child’s shirt and a small bundle of curly hair were also recovered. The remains were sent to the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Va., where a medical examination was performed. The report stated that the remains were of a black female likely between 4-7 years of age who became affectionately known to the community as Baby Jane Doe.

An autopsy was performed and notated fractures to her skull, arms, legs, shoulders, and ribs; totaling more than 15 individual fractures that were attributed to blunt force trauma. These injuries all had evidence of healing and occurred sometime prior to her death. In addition, the Medical Examiner suggested that Jane Doe may have been malnourished and blind in her left eye due to a fracture in her eye socket. Jane Doe’s death was determined to be a homicide and believed to have occurred between the summer of 2010 to 2011.

January 2022: DNA was further extracted in attempts to retrieve DNA suitable for genealogy testing. Othram Labs successfully extracted DNA from the scalp and Astrea Labs from the hair. A comprehensive genealogical profile was built from Othram’s DNA extract and the profile was uploaded to a DNA database. Once uploaded, an experienced genealogist who works closely with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was assigned the case. Dr. Barbara Rae-Venter with Firebird Forensics Group used the genealogical profile to identify relatives and develop investigative leads.

October 2022: Jane Doe’s father was identified as 50-year-old Lamar Vickerstaff Jr. Vickerstaff was born and raised in Opelika, Ala. before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. During his lengthy Navy career, he resided in Norfolk, Va., Honolulu, Hawaii and Jacksonville.

December 2022: Opelika Detectives traveled to Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, where Mr. Vickerstaff is currently stationed, to notify him of his daughter’s death. During the meeting, Vickerstaff did not provide investigators with any information on the identity of Jane Doe. Detectives then met with Vickerstaff’s wife, Ruth Vickerstaff. Ruth Vickerstaff, who has been married to Lamar since May of 2006, advised detectives she did not know his daughter or who may be the mother of Jane Doe.

December 2022: Dr. Rae-Venter was able to narrow down the results of the child’s mother to a woman living in Maryland. Detectives met with 37-year-old Sherry Wiggins who confirmed she was the biological mother of Jane Doe. Wiggins is a native of Norfolk, Va. and stated she gave birth to a baby girl named Amore Joveah Wiggins in January 2006. Ms. Wiggins provided documentation showing that Lamar and Ruth Vickerstaff obtained legal and physical custody of her daughter in 2009, at which time her visitation with Amore was suspended. Wiggins also provided documents indicating that she has continuously paid child support to Lamar Vickerstaff since 2009.

Detectives reached out to the school boards and pediatric clinics in several states where Lamar and Ruth Vickerstaff resided and determined that Amore was never enrolled in school nor was, she reported as a missing person. With this information, Opelika detectives met with the Lee County District Attorney’s Office to determine charges related to the death of Amore Wiggins.

Anyone with any information on Lamar and Ruth Vickerstaff’s relationship with Amore Wiggins and her time spent in Opelika, Ala. is asked to contact the Opelika Police Department Detective Division at (334) 705-5220 or the Secret Witness Hotline at (334) 745-8665. Tips can be submitted through the Opelika Police Mobile App and tipsters can remain anonymous.
