According to police reports Logan Kruckenberg Anderson girlfriend gave birth at home in a bathtub. Two days later her father would call 911 saying that his daughter had left the home with the newborn and came back without the newborn
Police would investigate and question the father, sixteen year old Logan Kruckenberg Anderson, who would eventually admit to bringing the baby girl to the woods, covering her with snow and shooting her twice.
Logan Kruckenberg Anderson would be arrested and has been charged with murder. The baby’s mother has not been charged

A 16-year-old father allegedly murdered his newborn child by covering her in snow and shooting her twice after he and the mother decided they couldn’t keep the baby.
On January 5, 2021, a teenage girl gave birth to a baby girl, local outlet WMTV reported. The father of the child, 16-year-old Logan Kruckenberg-Anderson, reportedly took the child out of the house where she was born and was not seen again, prompting the mother’s father to call 911.
Upon interviewing the mother, she allegedly told police that she and Kruckenberg-Anderson decided that they could not keep the child. When police questioned Kruckenberg-Anderson, he claimed that he paid a friend named Tyler $60 to drop the child off at an adoption center in Madison.
At some point after this claim, Kruckenberg-Anderson reportedly admitted to police that he actually took the newborn child out to the middle of the woods, covered her naked body in snow, and left her to die of exposure. He said that he could still hear the baby crying as he walked away.
Kruckenberg-Anderson led officers to where he claimed the abandoning occurred, and investigators discovered the child had actually been shot, per a complaint obtained by the outlet. After the discovery, Kruckenberg-Anderson reportedly confessed to shooting the infant twice in the head.
Kruckenberg-Anderson was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding the corpse of a child. The now 21-year-old appeared in court for his final pretrial appearance on Tuesday, according to Law&Crime. His trial wil reportedly take place on October 27.
