According to police reports officers arrived at the home and found the four year old in critical condition. The child was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Police believe that Javonte Harris beat the little boy to death. The mother Malisha Sasfras was arrested at the hospital as she allowed Javonte Harris” to abuse the child multiple times and having knowledge the abuse was going on” and allowing him “to continue to abuse the child till death.” Javonte Harris has been on the run since the incident and is being searched for by police.

A mother is facing murder charges in the death of her 4-year-old child. Another man is on the run — also wanted for the boy’s death, police in DeKalb County said

Authorities need help finding Javonte Harris, who is wanted for cruelty to children and felony murder. Harris and the child’s 25-year-old mother, Malisha Sasfras, are believed to have been involved in her death.

Police were called to the scene Saturday, Feb. 11, where they found the child in critical condition. The boy was rushed to a hospital but later died, according to a Facebook post from the department. They did not say who called 911.

Investigators did not say how the child died but believed it resulted from cruelty to children “based on physical evidence” found at the scene.

Warrants against Sasfras allege that she allowed Harris “to abuse the child multiple times and having knowledge the abuse was going on” and allowing him “to continue to abuse the child till death.”

Police said the two are in a relationship but said they are not married.

Anyone with information about Harris’ whereabouts, call 911 or the DeKalb County Special Victims Unit at 770-724-7710.

Inmate Terry Lee Thurmond Death Ruled Homicide

terry lee thurmond

Terry Lee Thurmond was arrested and sent to a Georgia jail due to a trespassing charge and he would die the next days. According to reports Terry Lee Thurmond was admitted to the Clayton County Georgia jail after being arrested  on a criminal trespass charge at the airport.

The next day Terry Lee Thurmond was grabbed as he was leaning over the second rail at the jail and was grabbed by officers and pulled back to the floor. During the ongoing altercation Terry Lee Thurmond would be tased several times and would be on the grounds with up to five officers on him. Even though Thurmond was no longer combative officers would continue to kneel on his back and neck

Twenty minutes later Terry Lee Thurmond would briefly raise his head and that was the last time. The coroner would rule that Thurmond had died from a cardiac arrest and the manner of death was homicide. The officers involved were all fired and now the wait is on to see if they will face criminal charges

Terry Lee Thurmond More News

A man in custody at the Clayton County Jail hung from a second-floor railing in a struggle with jailers, was shocked by a stun gun and left lifeless for 20 minutes before emergency medical officials arrived, according to a newly-released timeline from the medical examiner’s office.

In a struggle that lasted an hour, documents are now depicting new details that led to Terry Lee Thurmond III’s death, which the medical examiners office has ruled a homicide.

Thurmond was arrested and booked into the jail on Nov. 27, 2022, on a criminal trespass charge at the airport. He died the following day, after only being in jail custody for the day, records show.

When he was booked into the jail, Thurmond’s medical records showed a mostly clean bill of health with no history of suicide or self-injurious behavior. Records with the jail noted that he had no mental health history either. Thurmond’s medical history shows he had high blood pressure when he was admitted into the jail — he was taking medication for hypertension — and was booked with a cast on his right arm due to a fracture.

Medical examiner records show, later, that Thurmond suffered cardiac arrest during his struggle with jailers and inmates.

On Nov. 28 around 7:10 p.m., a timeline provided by the medical examiner’s office shows that’s when he started to hang over the second-floor railing. Inmates grab his foot and call for assistance as Thurmond is hanging onto the rail, according to surveillance video from inside the jail.

Video showed officers would get a grip of Thurmond by his jumpsuit and lift him back onto the floor. Three officers are seen trying to subdue Thurmond, and it appears a Taser is used on him. He leans on the railing after the supposed shock and it seems he is pushed to the ground.

After forcing Thurmond to break his hold of the railing, five officers are left trying to subdue Thurmond. At 7:19 p.m. it is recorded that the 38-year-old is face down as “most/all officers appear to be placing their knees and their body weight on Thurmond,” the medical examiner’s timeline reads.

At 7:20 p.m. it is recorded that Thurmond has not moved.

Video shows at this point a jailer has a knee by Thurmond’s neck and shoulder area; another was holding down his legs by his ankles that are crossed together. Other officers are putting weight on his back to keep him face down on his stomach. This is all also recorded by the medical examiner’s office, records show.

“At no point in time do they make an effort to de-escalate the situation from what we can tell,” Attorney Thomas Reynolds, who is representing Thurmond’s family, accused. “There was brute force aggression, slamming him to the ground and pinning him down for what appeared to be 20 minutes before rendering aid. At that time, he was already gone.”

Thurmond’s last recorded movement was at 7:26 p.m., when he “barely raised his head up,” before lowering it back to the floor, as noted by death investigators.

“It’s disheartening to see that we continue to have these types of issues within law enforcement, even after George Floyd,” Reynolds said about the video.

Ten minutes later, there do not appear to be signs of life. A Clayton County Sheriff’s Office witness statement said, “he was laying face down with his hands cuffed behind his back,” with flex cuffs due to his cast before CPR is started by a nurse a few minutes later.

Thurmond would leave on a stretcher to Southern Regional Hospital at 8:12 p.m. where he was pronounced dead.

Southern Regional Hospital accounts cite the patient was brought to them because he “was trying to commit suicide by jumping off a landing,” records show, adding he suffered cardiopulmonary arrest.

A Clayton County death investigation report reveals at the hospital, stun gun sites were found on his left arm and hip and Thurmond had a bruise on his left leg. Investigators also discovered he had a medical history of bipolar, paranoid schizophrenia and hypertension diagnosed at Grady Hospital and he was not taking prescribed medications. There are no jail medical records of his history with bipolar or paranoid schizophrenia diagnosis or a list of medications, meaning it may have not been disclosed or recorded at the time of Thurmond’s jail booking.

Reynold’s said this was an oversight and caused the shortfall of the jailers’ response to Thurmond’s actions that day.

“If people are dealing with mental health issues, make sure there’s someone on scene that has training on dealing with mental health issues,” he said.

Following his death, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was asked to step in.

Meanwhile, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office conducted an internal investigation which resulted in the firing of “all employees directly involved” for policy violations, Chief Deputy Levon Allen said last month. He clarified that the jail’s policies and procedures weren’t followed when officers were interacting with Thurmond.

Even after multiple requests, the sheriff’s office has not released the names of the employees involved. The GBI has not yet said why jailers chose to use a Taser on Thurmond.

“This was a pre-detention center,” Reynolds said. “He hadn’t been convicted of a crime. Many people are at that jail that will walk home free of any charges here. They’re innocent down there until proven guilty.”

So far, the medical examiner’s office said Thurdmond’s death was a homicide, meaning “the death was caused by the actions of another person.”

Reynolds said this doesn’t really provide closure for Thurmond’s family.

“They’re devastated. It’s one thing to know your family was killed at the hands of law enforcement, but to see it on video, how they just sat on him — close to 100 pounds, we estimate, on top of him, on his back for 15, 20 minutes — just while he struggled to breathe,” the attorney said. “It’s heartbreaking.”

The case is still being investigated by GBI. It is unclear how many, if any, of the jailers will face charges in Thurdmond’s death.

Zachary and William Zulock Charged In Sexual Horrors

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock

Zachary and William Zulock are a married couple from Georgia who have been charged in a long list of sexual crimes against their adopted children. According to police reports Zachary Zulock and William Zulock would sexually abuse their adopted children, film the atrocities and then make the videos available to others. To make matters even worse Zachary Zulock and William Zulock would also allow other people to abuse the children.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock have been charged with felony sexual exploitation of children, aggravated child molestation, felony prostitution of a minor, aggravated sodomy, and incest. If convicted they will spend the rest of their lives in prison and its a shame the death penalty is not on the table.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock More News

Georgia couple is being accused of sexually abusing their adopted children and using them to produce “homemade” child pornography, prosecutors allege, according to a new report.

Zachary Zulock and William Zulock were arrested on July 27 in Oxford, Georgia, after police raided their home and found video evidence that they were “engaging in sexually abusive acts” with the adopted children.

The couple is now facing a grand jury indictment under charges of felony sexual exploitation of children, aggravated child molestation, felony prostitution of a minor, aggravated sodomy, and incest, amounting to possibly nine life sentences, according to court documents obtained by Townhall.

Both men have pleaded not guilty. Their attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital

According to the indictment, the boys, both in third and fourth grade at the time of the arrest, were sexually abused by the couple who anally raped the minors in addition to performing oral sex on them. The indictment also alleges that the couple forced the boys to perform oral sex on them, and in on case, the older sibling was injured due to the anal rape.

The documents state that the Zulock’s sexual abuse of the children dates back to potentially 2019. According to the report, the boys were adopted in November 2018 when the couple went through a now-shut down Christian adoption agency focusing on special-needs children in Watkinsville, Georgia, called All God’s Children, Inc.

William Zulock allegedly admitted to forcing the couple’s 11-year-old adopted son to “perform an act of sodomy – oral capitulation” with the “intent to satisfy his own..sexual desire,” police wrote in an affidavit obtained by Townhall.

In a press release posted to Facebook when the couple was first arrested, police said that they were tipped off after a Georgia Bureau of Investigation detective received information about someone who “may have been downloading child sexual abuse material.” After an investigation and interview with the suspect, police found that there was a secondary suspect who “was producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one adopted child who lived in the home with the perpetrator

Another affidavit states that Zachary Zulock filmed his husband, William Zulock, performing acts of sexual abuse on the child. Zachary is accused of also being “engaged in sexually abusive acts” on the boy as well, the affidavit states.

Zachary allegedly told police in a recorded interview that the “routine” sexual abuse of their children was sent to “less than a dozen people.”

The men were also charged with soliciting two other men through social media to “perform an act of prostitution” on one of their children, the court documents state, adding that Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, and Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, 25, were both part of the prostitution ring.

Lawless told police that he received “numerous” Snapchat messages from Zachary which allegedly said “f–king [his] son tonight,” telling him to “be prepared” to get images and “video documentation” of the sexual abuse, court documents state, adding that the men met on the gay hookup app Grindr.

“I’m going to f–k my son tonight. Stand by,” Zachary messaged Lawless, according to prosecutors.

Lawless told police that he didn’t engage in sexual contact with the Zulock’s children but said that Zachary asked him to participate “multiple times.”

A folder titled “US” on Zachary’s phone was found by law enforcement and allegedly contained videos of his husband, William, participating in acts of sexual abuse on one of the children.

Included in the evidence collected by law enforcement are the 149 images, a text message from Lawless, a Snapchat letter, and Sexual Assault Nurse Examination results conducted on the children, court documents state.

Zachary and William Zulock Sentencing

A Georgia couple will spend the rest of their lives in prison after sexually abusing two young boys they adopted.

William Zulock and Zachary Zulock of Walton County were sentenced to 100 years in prison without parole on Thursday after they both pled guilty to several charges related to sexually assaulting their adopted children.

“Those involved with the investigation and prosecution of this case will never forget what they had to see and hear in this case,” District Attorney Randy McGinley said in a statement. “These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else.”

“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case,” he added. “The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring.

The investigation began in July 2022, when police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about suspected “homemade child sexual abuse material,” McGinley said in his statement. This led investigators to Hunter Lawless, a man who admitted to viewing this material and claimed he received it from Zachary, according to McGinley.

Lawless was sentenced to 20 years, with the first 12 to be served in prison, after pleading guilty to charges related to the material. He also cooperated with police as they investigated the Zulocks.

Officers then searched the Zulocks’ residence, and the couple admitted to sexually abusing their two boys, according to McGinley. In their search, police seized indoor surveillance cameras and their cell phones. This led them to discover footage of the Zulocks abusing the children.

The couple sent text messages and made posts about the abuse. Luis Vizcarro-Sanchez was one of the people receiving messages from Zachary about the abuse, McGinley said. He later pleaded guilty to Pandering for a Person Under 18

“This resolution will help the victims continue their process of healing,” McGinley said. “William and Zachary Zulock will now spend 100 years in prison without parole. This all but guarantees that the victims will not have to worry as they grow older about their abusers being free.”

William Zulock pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated sodomy; three counts of aggravated child molestation; two counts of incest; and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Zachary pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sodomy; three counters of aggravated child molestation; two counts of sodomy; three counts of sexual exploitation of children; and two counts of pandering for a person under 18.

He pleaded not guilty to two counts of incest, but a judge found him guilty on those charges after a brief bench trial earlier this year.

Alton Oliver More News

Investigators have made an arrest in the murder of a Fulton County deputy found shot to death in his car in northwest Atlanta.

At a press conference Tuesday, officials with the Atlanta Police Department and Mayor Andre Dickens said 26-year-old Alton Oliver was identified, arrested, and charged Monday for the shooting death of 24-year-old Deputy James Thomas.

According to authorities, officers were originally called to the scene on Bolton Road and Payton Road at around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 29 after reports of a shooting. They found a car that had been in a crash with the victim still inside.

Investigators later identified the victim as Thomas.

Atlanta police investigators spoke to the driver of a van who heard gunshots and called 911.

“The van observed the victim’s vehicle kind of driving erratically in the middle of the road on Bolton Road,” Atlanta police investigator Peter Malecki said. “When they went to pass that vehicle is when they believe they heard gunfire.”

At the time, investigators think that Thomas was killed after the crash. They do not believe Oliver and Thomas knew each other and that the shooting stemmed from a dispute that turned deadly.

Alton Oliver remains in custody in the Cobb County Jail charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and more.

Investigators say Alton Oliver did not have a criminal history outside a few traffic infractions.

Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat called Thomas “the life of the party” and a “good spirit,” who he personally hired from a law enforcement agency south of Atlanta.

“He was an outstanding young man. We personally recruited him from another agency down south specifically because of his energy and the love for what he brought to our agency,” Labat said.

Labat said the deputy worked on Wednesday night before he was found dead.

Thomas grew up in Mississippi, and locals say he knew what he wanted to be from a young age.

“Every time we would come through the neighborhood, he was just excited to see the officers he would flag us down,” said Chief Terence Crump, with the Edwards, Miss. police department. “He was really a blessing, because most kids his age, law enforcement wasn’t on the radar for them.”

Chief Crump said he took Thomas under his wing and helped him get his start in law enforcement.

The last time they spoke was less than 24 hours before he was last seen alive.

“I asked him [last] Tuesday if he had any plans of returning one day, and he said only if I could come back as a chief of police somewhere.”

Crump was confident that was in his future.

“I had no doubt in my mind that he was still with us, and maybe a couple years down the road I think he would’ve,” he told FOX 5’s Rob DiRienzo.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers had offered a $30,000 reward for anyone who has information that could lead to the arrest of Thomas’ killer

“Yes, we are aware, but that’s still under investigation, as far as what the encounters, that we had with him prior to this incident,” said Hampton.
